I'm gonna say goodbye to my "teenagehood" next year, i'm gonna be more productive and get a job, i'm a bit screwed when it comes to studying because i do very few hours, but still try my best, i'm gonna hit the gym, and take swiming classes, all that stuff.
So i planned that for this year, after finishing better call Saul (wich i'm gonna start watching when i finish fma 2003 and watch conqueror of shamballa) and finishing lego star the complete saga (because of the 20th anniversary of the first lego star wars) that i start watching Disney's main filmography from snow white and the 7 dwarfs through 2021's encanto.
I'm gonna do this because despite the huge amount of films they have produced (mainline, other studios, live action originals, remakes, etc) i'm gonna focus on the main filmography because there are many classics that i haven't ever watched or watched over a decade ago (snow white, 101 dalmatians, Robin hood, the rescuers, all the renaissance films, some of the 2000s movies, etc) and wanted, much like with toriyama by watching the buu saga, classic dragon ball and gt, pay homage to a very special artist, in this case: walter elias disney, a person that despite it's flaws i can't help but admire.
I was gonna play every main final fantasy from the first ii on psp to xii on ps2 to get all all the ff references in kh ii and enjoy the stories and characters (cecil), but i couldn't get past the first boss in ffI remake on psp (it confused me that to acces the towns you have to walk near the castle) and didn't got the time since i got to watch breaking bad wich is a very long series, i could some day do a marathon of ff but wouldn't be that different from other series i never finished or play little of (ratchet and clank and other plattformers, tomb raider, dragon quest, metroid, etc) i did manage to beat the first 5 gens of pokémon including the remakes in less than 2 months, but that was 4 Years ago, i was younger, days weren't as short and a lot of my favorite people on the internet haven't vanished or hid their content yet (podcasts and old long videos especially) these thing helped me get through this games much easily.
Basically: would i burnout playing a square-Disney game after marathoning the entere main disney filmography just to say goodbye to my inner kid? Should i watch or read other things such as watching monster or read the dragon ball manga instead? Is this even worth it in the first place?
I got burnout by marathoning Hollywood blockbusters from the 70s,80s and 90s but still found some incredible films (alien 1, terminator 2, the matrix, gremlins 1, etc) and hoped the same happened with disney.
but 1 thing is for sure: i'm gonna play kingdom hearts ii this december and try to prove to myself it Is one of the best games of all time even with it's flaws ,because much like other people, played it when i was 12 on normal and loved it, and i still pop it from time to time and enjoy how videogames pretty much peaked technically in 2005.
Sorry for the long post, an answer is appreciated, even more if it's detailed
