thats amazing love that.Yeah. Of course it's true. And you can use Nintendont to load GC ISOS. Not all of them work, anyways.
In fact, I have a backwards compatible Wii with GC controllers plugged and never use it to play Wii games.

Those are, precisely, the not compatible ones.
Careful the Wii mini has no internet connection, but there is a way via a guide. Just buy a standard Wii they are cheap and easy to hackThat wii mini looks good think ill try and get one of them. Never actually owned a wii but now i know this id like to own one for physical copies of games.

So in short if i wanted to play wwe day of reckoning or starfox assault the wii will read them?
All that's missing are the Classic Remotes, the Wiimotion Plus Accessory, the Wii Zapper Accessory, etc. and it would already be the most complete package of what it already is.A wii mini isnt that expensive on ebay either good stuff.

found a dude on ebay pretty much has all the acccessories as well in a bundle
That's what I thought, but other users claim Wii Mini can... I really don't know! I mean, can you use Nintendont on them? Or are we just talking about retail CD games?Only the first model can play GameCube games.
I think it's a boomer, because Wii Mini is so cute...you can transform it into something really cool adding to it the SD card reader and the reset button. If you're skilled enough, you can add the wifi port, but I can live without it.TL;DR: Generally, "Any wii is compatible" but value of an actual GameCube controller and being able to connect them to the console is still high enough that one would avoid getting rarer models that are an hindrance. If you have a DualShock 3, 4 or such Nintendont will serve even those people just fine.
You can play both GameCube & Wii backups on a external hard drive with 2 specific partitionsYeah. Of course it's true. And you can use Nintendont to load GC ISOS. Not all of them work, anyways.

It is also not always marketed like that.It took me years before I learnt about the "Wii Family" model.
Yeah, I know that, thanks. It's just I like GC games more. Besides, it's conected to a CRT, so I prefer playing Wii games via Wii U in my LCD.You can play both GameCube & Wii backups on a external hard drive with 2 specific partitions
