Why couldn't they drop a nuke or send a nuke to kill Lavos?

I got myself thinking, and thought why couldn't they time travel to the future and teleport a nuclear armament to destroy Lavos?

When Lavos surfaced in the apparently technologically advanced 1999, it destroyed that civilization in an afternoon. Not sure nukes would've worked, or if they even had them since theose are never shown to exist in that world.

Perhaps Mother Brain could cook up some advanced anti-Lavos weaponry, but it was clearly more focused on extinguishing humanity instead.

damn shame if they didn't exist, i think it would be powerful enough to damage or hinder Lavos from attacking

Doesn't Chrono and his pals mostly come from a time where nuclear technologies haven't even been thought of? They might not even understand the concept of such a thing.

Biological storage would be useless against the threat of the lavos level, That would be the same as thinking, "You shoot Godzilla with a bazooka in the eye and you surprised he's still alive."

Wait, I thought they did in ending E?

A nuclear bomb at the center of the planet is a ....... terrible idea to say the least.
Why? It wouldn't affect life on earth; even if you did set off a nuclear weapon at the core, that is minuscule compared to the total thermal energy of the core of the earth. Unless it somehow disrupts the convection of molten iron currents which sustains our magnetic field, it wouldn't do anything to life on earth.

I think they could send Robo or some durable robot to the past, along with some scientists...
They could research about the ways of defeating Lavos, and the results of their research should have been stored in that bot... and kept standby until reaching the same time-period that they sent it from...
They would get the results, and send the same scientists to the past again, but this time, with the result of their previous lifetime!

They could easily solve all mysteries of the world this way!

If that were the case wouldnt that cause a paradox?

Yeah but then we wouldn't have a video game. We'd have a visual novel.

Not really... because it's not a self-repeating loop.
It's a manually controlled loop, and they can stop it at any iteration, if they consider it enough info.

Mr Panda... You cannot stop the progression of knowledge! 🧐
The solution of the biggest mysteries of the world, sometimes are rooted in a silly question...
