Who is your best friend on RGT?

This thread is starting to give me...

It's also a depressing reminder of how bad I am at making friends. I never understood how people could meet for the first time at work, and be "besties" within a day or two. It genuinely feels like there's "wiring" missing in my brain..
Meanwhile, anyone that I meet outside of a Martial Arts context seems to have a neutral opinion of me, at best..
::sadkirby
Each person makes friends or socializes in different ways, for example in irl o can't make a friend at the first try, so first i need to know about that person
so my did my "besties" after a long time
so don't feel bad for that, try to talk to others, I hope you can make friends!!!!!
don't give up

For what's worth: I really enjoy reading you and I'm glad you are here, man.

You have your opinions and sometimes you're too rough or fault of touch but i don't see you as a bad guy.
Don't worry, you're also a part of RGT more then me. It may be that many people here don't like your comments, but you don't write nonsense. ::thumbsupwario
Thanks..
People really do prefer their "comforting lies" over "unpleasant truths." However, the "comforting lies" have caused nothing but significant harm to me, and my life only improved once I started embracing said "unpleasant truths."
Hence why I get along infinitely better with other Martial Artists. Because whatever works, works, regardless of how you feel about it. Especially when the little guy makes the thing work against someone twice their size. It's also seemingly the only environment where my verbal-IQ is actually appreciated..

There also seems to be a certain degree of pseudo-"invisibility" to me IRL. My old Grandmaster was the only person to ever witness it in effect, first-hand. My only possible explanation "why" is that it was an unconsciously developed childhood defense mechanism... that I don't know how to "turn off." So when I do start talking to people, they sometimes react as if an end-table started talking to them..

Hehe, you two are making me shy! Honestly, you're my best Gs here. I hold you both in high regard, and you've both definitely got a special place in my heart. Appreciate you brothers! @Aldia @thumbsdown

Friendship is such a select and difficult thing to find, and everyone has different definitions. As others have said, name dropping has the potential to cause unwanted hurt, so I'll say that there are far more users here I'm fond of than indifferent to (or put off by).

Hey buddy, it's been a long time since we talked. How are you?
