who do you main as in the mortal kombat series?

I am very much a casual MK player. In most of the games, I tend to play Rain, Sub-Zero, or Sektor.

MK2: Kitana, Sub-Zero, and Johnny Cage
UMK3: Human Smoke and Ermac
MK9: Kitana, Ermac, Scorpion, and Skarlet
MKX: Kitana, Scorpion, Takeda, and Erron Black
MK11: Cassie Cage, Scorpion, and Kitana
MK1: Li Mei, Scorpion, and Mileena

Kitana and Scorpion are my usual go-to's, but some games have characters I like more.

Kabal!! I think he's awesome, fast, dual weirdly shaped blades, sick mask and he dresses well, what's not to love? I was really good with him back in MK11 (at least for a casual) and I main him in every game that he's in, otherwise I just pick Sub-zero.

Ya Kabal's swords are cool. I think they call them Fu Tao or Hu Tou Gou, Chinese hook swords.
I always liked that they are based on real weapons

I will main scorpion at all time in all games, no matter what tier he is.

I become too attached to characters to care about tier lists :(.

Just as how my friend who used Hawk eye and doom with Dormammu in UMVC3 always kicked my ass as Cap, iron man and hulk.

I'm a casual fan of MK but I grew up with it thanks to Trilogy and the PS2 3D games.

Trilogy:
Liu Kang, Sektor, Kitana, Sub-Zero (classic & unmasked), Sindel, Stryker, and Smoke (Cyber-Ninja).

Deadly Alliance:
Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Jax, Li Mei, and Johnny Cage.

Deception:
Liu Kang (zombie ftw!), Noob-Smoke (the coolest character and you can't convince me otherwise), Ermac, Ashrah, Li Mei, Sub-Zero, Havik, and Shujinko.

Armageddon:
Noob, Shujinko, Sareena, Sektor, Shao Khan, Sub-Zero and Liu Kang.

MK9:
Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Smoke, and Kratos.

MKX:
D'Vorah, Sub-Zero, and Kung Jin.

MK vs DC (For laughs):
Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Green Lantern, and Captain Marvel (Shazam).
