Stars like you should be hidden, 'cause someone might steal your brightness away.

We fear the end, yet not a new beginning, we despise an end, yet not a start.
What is it that truly haunts us, the closing of a door or the silence before the next one opens?

Whose ember has been set ablaze with such compassion, may I ask?
what good is the blaze that has been set if the heat it not warmth and hands etch out recoil.

Let time cast a distant fade across the horizon — for when the sky is cloaked in stars, your eyes will finally see with truth.
where will i go if the stars themselves cannot answer and my eyes only perceive lies.

Amongst you walked that blaze in their heart, yet never warmed the ones who were close to them. It was not love nor pride, or power, a fire meant to dazzle, not to heal.

I'm talking about you friend
My heart is true as the bed of roses, but the thrones are always waiting beneath their prey.

(I felt a bit of a poetry section was needed, hence I began this adventure)
(P.S: I am not in love, just my words in honest form)

<it was never meant to dazzle at all> it's what others wanted to see. it was bright. inside that furnace, there were only those deliberate stokes. i wanted those to gather and mend. and the innocence to bellow only to find myself lacking less.

You've find my words a delight to read, for that I embrace the compliment and begin a new.

Sought not to gather and mend, but to burn away what they could not heal.
The innocence wasn’t a bellow, it was a silent cry, unruly.

Envious am I to those felt fleeting love
For my heart feels grief as the rain pours from the sky above
I gave you my heart, but you used it in another way,
Like a stepping stone, to get away from me.

(I actually wrote this one as part of a song.)
