I'm in the underworld, just after the fight with Golbez when Rydia re-joins the party.
Woah you're way further than I expected. That's pretty much exactly where I'm up to on my 3DS run as well....spooky!

Never mind, it's wonky. Can't get it to work properly for some reason.

Do you have any other controller mapping running at the same time? Like Steam overlay? That might be messing with it.

I want to fuck Midna, Imp form mostly.

What kind of device are you playing on?

It's a fresh install of Snes9x on my PC. I don't feel like messing with it right now though, it'll probably work itself out tomorrow. :)

If it doesn't, do let me know and PM me or something.

That's true, and there are a few occasions where we see him get pissed off. But they're so few and far between. I'd have liked if more time was spent in-game showing Kratos trying and failing to control his anger.
Maybe , but it seems its like this on intention Thor makes a remark about this

It was definitely the intention to make Kratos calmer. I listened to the Director talk about it a bunch in the Raising Kratos documentary and in other stuff too. I just would have liked a few more rage scenes is all. It's one of the things I enjoyed most about his character in the earlier games. I want to play as the most angry man in the world, and I used to play God of War for that.

I feel they intended to grow the character (a good thing) but they probably overcorrected.

It would have been interesting to see him raging more especially in ragnarok since its similar to 3 you go around clapping the Norse pantheon would have worked pretty well.

i agree, there is a difference between growing a character and making one character a completely different one between games with no explanation, especially since new god of war writting is absolutely ass IMO, the old angry Kratos was better written and way more memorable, and the old games where better too. : )

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed Kratos a good deal myself. As someone who used to have bad anger issues that I've worked to let go of, I often found myself relating to Kratos and his reactions to his own anger.

As someone who struggles to deal with anger myself, I can totally relate.

That's exactly what the newer games could have explored, but as Hitman_99 put it, he's already (somehow) completely controlled his rage by the time 4 starts, so we never get to experience that growth, trial/triumph with him.

I also want to add as an aside, level 4 and onwards of Taz-Mania for Genesis makes me want to try give myself a chelsea smile with a butter knife.

That is true. I would have liked to see Kratos actively fight against his rage a bit more often. Krato's reaction to brutally killing Heimdall in a rage cut a bit deep for me, and I would have liked to see more like that.
