I mean you usually learn after the first time why a book? If your partner’s a good one they’ll teach you the ropes, and if you’re both inexperienced you’ll learn anyway.​

Most of the time these books are for people who feel like they can't learn from their partners, people who haven't had a partner (even if that's not how they make it seem), or for people who are looking to spice things up a bit. They're not all totally useless, but most of them are. Some are just plain silly.​

So, occasionally I've been doing the math just out of curiosity for when this thread might hit page 1000, assuming it maintains the same rate of posting (which actually has slowed down a bit since I last talked about this around when we hit page 200, I think.).

Assuming nothing happens to this thread in the future and it maintains a similar average number of posts per day, we should hit page 1000 by June 25th.

I think I'm going to start keeping track of this more whenever we hit another page count milestone.​
