Triple Baka, my beloved. Such a classic, fun bop.
Very trueTriple Baka, my beloved. Such a classic, fun bop.
I've definitely never had that happen before. Sounds quite strange.Hmm... No nightlifers tonight, it seems. I guess even this thread needs to rest after yesterday's excitement. Guess I'll ramble a bit, since I have the floor.
I had a weird thing happen last night. I tried to make a Twitch account so I could join and chat with @IyoTheHelpfulWolf 's stream, only to find out my new phone number was already tied to an inactive account I didn't recognized. I had to go through a process of changing that account's password and email through text so i could free my number up. Has anyone else had something like this happen before?
It was definitely odd. The account's last activity seemed to be in 2021, but my phone is only a month or so old. I used password recovery on the account and it texted my number just fine however. I guess it's a reused number, I'm admittedly not super familiar with how that works.I've definitely never had that happen before. Sounds quite strange.
Kinda depends on the phone company. How often they do it usually depends on the activity of the number/account, and since so many online accounts these days are tied directly to your phone number, it can create some security risks. It was definitely odd. Mine are asian girls. To be fair everyone has their own.
I never bothered with Twitch, so I'm guessing you can't link existing accounts from other services?Hmm... No nightlifers tonight, it seems. I guess even this thread needs to rest after yesterday's excitement. Guess I'll ramble a bit, since I have the floor.

Not that i could tell, but I had no difficulty making an account. I couldn't participate in chat without first verifying the account however, and that was the part I needed my number back for.I never bothered with Twitch, so I'm guessing you can't link existing accounts from other services?
See that's the thing I'm wary about. I know why services have to do it but... yeah. Not that i could tell, but I had no difficulty making an account. I couldn't participate in chat without first verifying the account however, and that was the part I needed my number back for.
I definitely understand, I don't normally like to deal with these kinds of things either but I wanted to support Iyo's stream. At least I have it all worked out for next time.See that's the thing I'm wary about. I know why services have to do it but... yeah.
