I've talked about it in a few threads before, but I lost a ton of figures and video game stuff in a nasty tornado accident. Where I used to live is known as "Tornado Alley", so it's pretty common unfortunately. It was years ago though, so it doesn't bother me so much now.
The idea of living in Tornado Alley has always been terrifying to me. Where I am we usually get a tornado or two in the summer, but it's almost never anything serious. Much more likely to have a blizzard that knocks out the power for a week or two in the winter than a tornado that does significant damage.

It gets pretty frightening sometimes. Close calls were a once-a-year thing, sometimes more. It started getting much worse in the late 2000s, when a suburb getting devastated happened nearly every year as well. I've since moved away from there.

what are you opinions over our lord and savior kasane teto?

I like Teto a lot, she's been my other favorite for many years and it's been a treat watching the little drill girl that could come up in the world in the last few years. I'm also in the camp that her and Miku make a good duo.

Hmm... No nightlifers tonight, it seems. I guess even this thread needs to rest after yesterday's excitement. Guess I'll ramble a bit, since I have the floor.

I had a weird thing happen last night. I tried to make a Twitch account so I could join and chat with @IyoTheHelpfulWolf 's stream, only to find out my new phone number was already tied to an inactive account I didn't recognized. I had to go through a process of changing that account's password and email through text so i could free my number up. Has anyone else had something like this happen before?

I've definitely never had that happen before. Sounds quite strange.

It was definitely odd. The account's last activity seemed to be in 2021, but my phone is only a month or so old. I used password recovery on the account and it texted my number just fine however. I guess it's a reused number, I'm admittedly not super familiar with how that works.

Kinda depends on the phone company. How often they do it usually depends on the activity of the number/account, and since so many online accounts these days are tied directly to your phone number, it can create some security risks.

I never bothered with Twitch, so I'm guessing you can't link existing accounts from other services?
