Guys don’t panic, RGT is unstable but we should all respect its mental health! ?
First, it was the CSS breaking, and now this.I think a few of us had a hiccup with RGT for a few seconds.
The site was down temporarily and returned a white screen with a single line of text like "Unable to fulfill request/this website is currently unavailable". Sorted in less than 30 seconds for me thoughWhat's going on exactly?
This place has been pretty lively with the new Chatter board...It could even be due to heavy traffic, who knows.
How’d that thing come about anyway? I was offline during that whole fiasco. This place has been pretty lively with the new Chatter board...
Also, the site has almost 300,000 members, so that also might be it.This place has been pretty lively with the new Chatter board...
Yeah but only 50 or so people actually use the forums at any given day. Everyone else is just here for the Repository. Also, the site has almost 300,000 members, so that also might be it.
Yeah, but whenever I'm online it's 150-200 people or so.Yeah but only 50 or so people actually use the forums at any given day. Everyone else is just here for the Repository.
I'm guessing just a general tidying up of the forums, so we don't have things like counting to 10,000 together with mental health. How’d that thing come about anyway? I was offline during that whole fiasco.
Really? I always thought this forum was hugely popular and there were people chatting mostly every minute or so.Yeah but only 50 or so people actually use the forums at any given day. Everyone else is just here for the Repository.
By normal forum standard compared to other sites, RGT is actually on a smaller side of spectrum.Really? I always thought this forum was hugely popular and there were people chatting mostly every minute or so.
Me neither. It will only cause bandwidth issues, if all of those were active at the same time.
I haven't seen the online members go pass 1k (even with guests).
Ah, I’m guessing it must be rather new for it to garner an audience.By normal forum standard compared to other sites, RGT is actually on a smaller side of spectrum.
Most of the people online are lurkers. And i doubt people lurking are going to break a site just by observing it.Yeah, but whenever I'm online it's 150-200 people or so.
I think the site was only set up last year or so, but correct me if I'm wrong.Ah, I’m guessing it must be rather new for it to garner an audience.
Huh... I always figured this place was pretty active by modern forum standards. Every other forum I come across is like a ghost town.By normal forum standard compared to other sites, RGT is actually on a smaller side of spectrum.
We just have a large ammount of dedicated posters in here compared to other places. If you go on any thread the people posting on it are usually the same handful that also post on other threads and a few new guys who only come here a few times and then stop.Huh... I always figured this place was pretty active by modern forum standards. Every other forum I come across is like a ghost town.
We should advertise like fake money to get more members, they could put up a huge ad like “Hey, join if u want 50 in any currency” and watch the members flood in! /j
Yeah, we already know what happens when a Rom site gets attention...![]()
Shh! Rom sites should stay hidden!
Honestly, it should stay niche. The fact that this forum is kinda niche is part of the charm that makes me like it to be honest, it's like living in a peaceful apartment blocks and you know every neighbors and they're all nice to each other.
