Grotesque revelations began to materialize in her mind. Cerulean eyes pointed at the river below, she stared in disbelief, unblinking. How could this happen? Her throat tightened as fear and sadness began to surge from her chest. As if a well overflown, tears began to form and fall freely from open eyes betrayed. Rising feelings of abandonment blossomed inside of her slender form as sharp, piercing agonies. She fell to her knees, clutching her face with small, frail hands. Perhaps life was not meant to grow more beautiful with time. Perhaps she was too weak to exist in such a cruel world. These thoughts swirled through her mind, granting her the deepest despair she had ever experienced in her young life.

Still on her knees, she weakly reached down into the still moving river just beneath her. Fingers embracing the water, she felt nothing. Where was once a strong love, there was now cold silence. This feeling wasn’t new to her – she had struggled with abandonment her entire life. But the waters of this world were the one aspect of creation that never betrayed her. Anemic and weak, she feebly moved her thin hand through the water as it swiftly traveled past her fingers, ignoring her completely. The connection once shared between her and the waters was now gone. No longer could she fight the world, fate, and herself – she gently slipped into the river and was carried into eternity.

Thank you, sincerely. I'm trying to build a better life, and it's slow going! And I'm terrified that somehow things are gonna backslide now that things slowly seem to be improving. But I guess that's only natural.

Anywhom'st, has anyone found time to watch or play anything, or go somewhere, outside of work and other responsibilities? I went to a nearby village the other day and it was really nice to get away for a bit. Even though it was less then an hour's drive away, it felt very new to me.​

I recently picked up Robocop: Rogue City and have been having a blast with it. It's not groundbreaking or anything like that, but they absolutely nailed the feeling of the first two films (though it does lean a little more towards the second film in terms of feel, but that's not a complaint for me) and the general feeling of just being Robocop.​
