Which is better, GOG or the Epic Games Store?

the only good thing about the epic store is the weekly free games apart from that and fortnite and unreal engine there is not a single good reason to use that thing
the thing is so bad it can sometimes just lose your installed games or think it lost them and want to just redownload the entire thing
you cannot even just tell the launcher you already have the game files it's not smart enough to have that feature, the only way to do that is to lowkey make the launcher glitch out and it actually is the official way to do it according to the support
compared to Steam, the Steam launcher is so smart if there is another computer on your LAN which has the game it will just get it from that computer and install it as fast as your local net can possibly be
I have a friend who plays fortnite and has a bad internet connection I know how infuriating the epic launcher can be

Nah guys I'm so glad that all of ya here think like me and prefer GOG over any other store... Also they really care for making older games playable on new hardware and releasing DRM-free games... That's good 'cause my classmates really liked some of the games I was playing and I simply downloaded the game offline and send it to them so they could give it a try, hurra GOG!

Epic games store wouldn't exist if Fortnite didn't, GOG is better for old gaming by a lot, no DRM is awesome so you can be sure you *own* your games even if GOG is down for good
Can't remember the whole library but the most remarkable are Living With Sister (hehehe) Dishonored, Mafia definitive Edition, Intravenous, Disciples Sacred Lands, Titan Quest, Dungeon siege (the collection), and some games from Amazon prime yeee

For their library and their lack of DRM, GOG beats literally everything. I hate a bunch of things about the way their website is formatted though
itch.io mogs every single store including gog tbh, they just got a bad reputation cause idk, maybe cause it's just too easy to publish games there or something
Well, I'd say Steam for AAA games (Which I'll never like), Itch.io for indie games, and GOG for classic old-school gems. The only one that would be left behind like the crap it is would be Epic games lmao
I never understood their policies for shit like that. You can have 'hitler femboy sim' but something like Clanpool or Vns like Full Metal Daemon Muramasa(peak) aren't allowed due to some bs.

There are still DRMs on them.
And some are requiring online connection too.
I'd even say that GoG had some builds made for modern OS so they work better.
