I don't like to be like hero of any game... however, some of them are inspiring for me.
For example, Micah from Rune Factory 3... his ability to turn any hardship thrown at him into an opportunity to make things better is awe-inspiring!

Well, when I was a kid, Link. No contest. He's just too cool.

Today, I like Carrie Fernandez a lot. Would have liked her as a kid too if I were properly exposed to Castlevania 64 before. Her disdain for adults would have resonated with me too. Not that I was a brat or anything, I just never liked being downplayed for my age.
