Which ending in a game left you like this:

Yakuza 0
Killer 7
Ace attorney Phoenix Wright 1
Tsukihime - Hisui/Kohaku route - true ending
Sonic Battle
Castlevania Order of ecclesia
Yakuza 0/1/6/7 and Gaiden
Chrono Trigger
Phantasy Star Portable 1
Persona 2 Duology and 3
Solatorobo red the Hunter part 1

Both work, methinks. (KH3 made me both sad and bittersweet)
Actually I meant if we can post sad or bittersweet endings only, or if we can post happier ones too.

The ones I posted definitely fall on the happier side of things (even though Star Fox's still is a little bittersweet), but now that I paid attention to Mario on OP's pic he doesn't look like he's having a nice day lol

I won't elaborate what kind of ending this one is, but: Bad End Theater.

Makes me insta cry every time.
Well it’s in the name. It’s a bad ending. So something really bad happened to them, like they forgot their stove on or they got rekt at Mario party. Pretty sad stuff.
(On that note i should really play bad end theater it looks so my thing)

Yakuza 0
Killer 7
Ace attorney Phoenix Wright 1
Tsukihime - Hisui/Kohaku route - true ending
Sonic Battle
Castlevania Order of ecclesia
Yakuza 0/1/6/7 and Gaiden
Chrono Trigger
Phantasy Star Portable 1
Persona 2 Duology and 3
Solatorobo red the Hunter part 1
Order of Ecclesia, the unfairest game of the saga (Not only for the difficulty, Shanoa's story is just... Lays in the ground crying)

The true ending of Mary Skelter 2.
You kind of expect a sad ending given that both of the protagonists are named after the "Grateful Crane" and "Little Mermaid" stories, but the way the final chapter just kept getting more and more sad was just heartbreaking for anyone that got attached to any of the characters.

So only two game endings in my life have made me cry real tears. Ugly tears.

Final Fantasy X, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Persona 3 for sure.
Link's Awakening. Doubly hurt because the GBC games are the only Zelda games I enjoyed.
Sonic Adventure 2 back when I first played it. Nowadays knowing Shadow lives ruins the impact of that one.
Phantasy Star Online. Poor Rico.

Metal Gear Solid 3
Transistor
Spec Ops: The Line

I don't finish a lot of games, really, and most of the ones I DO, aren't that sad. But these jumped out in my memory.

Honestly I yet to play games where the ending had me sad the game had sad moments sure.
Like FF7 and the death of certain some one had me balling.
Wuthering wave endig of 2.2 had me balling to all hell.

But no not played games that made me sad in the end instead most game that I love that ended just had me craving for more but not sad.

Okey I lied FF16 ending had me :(
