What's your "useless talent"?

I can do a awesome voice impression of Gollum from Lord of the rings.View attachment 6701
Lmao, I wanted to hear it::peek
I don't think i have any useless talents, but i do have one that rarely get's used.
I can "read" souls, basically i can tell if someone is evil or malicious just by the look and "feel" i get from them, without question, why rarely used?
My health issues means i rarely leave home so i rarely meet new people.
I didn't expect that ending ::lol
If that's true though, then I'm sorry man

Sounds alot more depressing than it is, don't worry about it.

What the hell? I'm an npc? I have no talent at all. I can't think of a single thing,

As a child I used to mold chewing gum with my teeth and could create stylized little men, then my first girlfriend told me that what I was doing was in her eyes very disgusting, and so I gave up this innate talent of mine. I resumed a few years later, but my mouth and dentition had changed so much that I could no longer create anything.

I have an immense amount of general trivial knowledge, and can hold extended conversations on basically any subject with no preparation. I got this way by spending a lifetime reading random BS and a psychological dependency on Wikipedia.

If only this skill was profitable.

Wtf someone cloned me without my knowledge or consent
But my ego prevents me from getting mad

I can snap with my middle finger without the aid of my thumb.
Yet i can't snap with my index finger, even with the aid of my thumb!

I
HATE

so i mastered being able to split them away from the clear with only the eggshell keeping my hands clean

I feel like starting a podcast would be one way to just get all that knowledge and information out while it still be productive.

This thread reminds me of Mystery Men XD

Personally i think ai will bring about the apocalypse, but not terminator style, more the "they took our jobs" kind causing a societal collapse and eventual uprising which will destroy civilization that has become reliant on ai, happy times.
For what it's worth i don't consider that a useless talent btw, then again nothing in life is useless and trivial.

I can spell hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia and pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. When I was 12 I wanted to show off to my English teacher and ever since then my entire identity in school had been the kid who could spell long words. I won our school's spelling bee and was a finalist in a national one when I was 13. That was the peak of my entire existence.

Allow me to ramble. In reality the hardest words aren't the super long ones, but rather the short ones. I lost to the word "saccadic", a word I had never heard (that was until I got glasses lmao). You could ask the etymology. The judge said it's from French. So now I know it isn't psakadic nor sackadic. People single out English for weird spellings for some really dumb reason. You could make that argument with whatever language you so choose. Arabic doesn't write short vowels (which is VERY grammatically significant)... yeah my PC's about to die so I'll cut it here but there's a lot of weird spellings in many languages. Most languages in fact.

I can aim properly without holding my wiener.

Don't try this at home, I'm just built different

I can eat the same meal every day for years and not get bored of it.

I'm pretty good at adding, subtracting or multiplying in my head. Would have been useful 100 years ago maybe. I am also good at thinking of puns, but not on the spot, and not in any charming way that would impress a woman on a dating site. Mostly gross puns that I think of and write down at work so I can later rename people randomly in my friend group's Discord. I can only hope thinking of stupid names like Thin Glizzy, Skid Mark Twain or Jamie Lee Coitus will be useful in some other way someday.

I'm fat, but I can do high kicks, moonsault, 360 low sweep, and sling blade. Maybe I'm fat, but I'm pretty limber. Never got in a situation where I have to use these though, but it makes for a good party trick.

Sleeping while standing up, useful on some specific situation.

Mimicking Billy's voice from Grimm's Adventure.

I can recognize Kitamura Eri's voice just from her breathing alone.

This is EXTREMELY useful in IT, even to this day.
