If you want a good recommendation for a graphics card that is good and will last for a long time, the RTX 4070 Super is a solid choice. That's what I am thinking of buying. So might be something to look out for, if you can find it that is.All I know for sure is that it had a 1070 because that was a thing I wanted back when I bought it in 2018. Looking to upgrade to a newer PC soon, but I am so far out of the loop. I went to Best Buy and all I saw were fishtank-looking towers and I guess they go up to 5080 now? Time flies.
So those who have a NASA PC can flex and those who have a better PC than you feel good about their less shitty PCs!!!! But hey, if your PC can run Crysis 1 then your PC is ok no worries, at least it better able to run Half Life 1 dude!!!Why do people wanna know how shitty my PC is ??
| Component | Spec (ish) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Celeron N3050 (dual-core @ 1.6GHz) | Chosen for maximum disappointment |
| GPU | Integrated Intel HD Graphics | Can render Minecraft at 12 FPS |
| RAM | 2GB DDR3 (single stick, probably loose) | Held in place with duct tape |
| Storage | 32GB eMMC or salvaged laptop HDD | May contain leftover pizza receipts |
| Display | 11" LCD panel (720p) | Screwed into the box lid with hope |
| Keyboard | Recycled membrane keyboard | Missing F4, sticky Q key |
| Cooling | One dying fan + cardboard airflow holes | Smells like marinara when hot |
| Power Supply | Frankensteined laptop charger | Sparks mildly on boot |
