My favorite games from the Megami Tensei series.

Oh!!!!!!! My favorite is my only play which means shin megami tensei 2 on gba with translation. But seriously the storyline give me too choose and then happens same this make me sick for soen reason. I have a mufune and megami right now.

I have played every mainline Persona game and my favorite title is probably Persona 3, (my Portable play through was very enjoyable using the Kotone Cutscenes Project.)

The only SMT game I have played is nocturne and it was very fun, I should probably give the other titles a shot. Though i don't know if i want to play Strange Journey or SMTIV first.

HOO-HOOT! I would personally say Strange Journey is my favorite! I deeply enjoy the premise of soilders being sent to fight an unstoppable force- as it all slowly crumbles. AND perhaps Maybe I am unwell- BUT, I LOVED sector Eridanus.

(OOC: I should add this was my first SMT ever and HOLLLY SHIT. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. ACTUALT fire and I wouldn't have it any other way.)

I don't know, I don't use my cell phone to play sixth generation games, only third, fourth and fifth generation games.

What do you think about Reload?

i've never played the remake so i don't have an opinion on it. the only thing i can say is that i didn't like the new soundtrack very much (although i was never a big fan of the original persona 3 soundtrack).

I'd say that I like the SMT games, with my personal favorite being Nocturne.

I do not like the Persona games. It's just not for me, is all.

In terms of other Atlus titles, I like DoDonPachi, which was published by them and developed by Cave.

SMT IV is ranked as high as it is despite is pretty dumb story because of its amazing OST and great gameplay/setting. The two Raidou Games and Jack Bros also rule, but since they're not RPGs I didn't rank them. If you want to count Persona Q and Q2 they'd be at the bottom of the list, and I haven't played Persona 5 Tactica yet.

Would love to play through Devil Summoner and NINE someday if they're translated.

A bit like persona i think the first two SMT games are quite distinct from nocturne onwards,
I like the MAG system, I like the insane encounter rate and I just think it has the most depressing story of mainline SMT which adds to its atmosphere.
I'm hoping the PS1 versions of II and IF get translated someday.

I'd say 1 and 2. Still hoping the PS1 versions of 2 and If get picked up and translated. 4 is my least liked, and I personally think Strange Journey makes for a more compelling 4th entry than it.

As for strictly SMT, it'd have to be Digital Devil Saga 1.
