No, for real, my absolute favourites are Ekans and Zubat. I love bats and snakes! I also love Sableye, very silly Pokémon. Chandelure and Mismagius are also easy favourites.

Oh, right: Chikorita if we picking starters, tiny was my first starter ever. And Piplup!

Always in my Legends Z-A team. Weirdly enough I didn't cared much back in 2000s with R/S but then something hit me and I was like: "ok this is the cutest and most adorable 3rd gen Pokémon, if not of them all".
Now I'm curious to check previous comments to see how many loves it as well.

Don't ask me why, it's how, but ever since I first played Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, whenever I catch one, I've kept it in my team until the Pokémon League. It's a Grass / (then) Fighting type with incredibly powerful moves that free up at least two slots for my main team.

I also play Pokémon terribly, like "I catch six Pokémon and keep them until the end, or at least until I catch a Legendary or something stronger," lol.

I'd say my favorite pokemon is Solgaleo. I loved when I played through gen 7

Back when I was a wee babby, I was deeply fascinated by Kyogre. I think it was because of how powerful it was in conjunction with its cry, which I thought was very cool. Aside from that, I was one of many Charizard fans, so you could say I was a bit NPC-ish. But how could you blame me? Charizard has one of the most solid designs in Pokémon history. It's appeal is that it's a wyvern, and wyverns look cool. It's choice of colors and permanently lit tail add to that "cool as heck" design that stood the test of time.

Nowadays, my favorite Pokémon is Scizor. In truth, I always liked the mysticism behind him (being a trade evolution), and always thought it had a cool design. It wasn't until gen 5 (when I dabbled into competitive Pokémon a bit) that Scizor truly grew into me. I need a powerful physical attack, and saw that Scizor was OU, gave him a try and it was love at first sight. Scizor feels like a combination of what I think is cool as a kid and as an adult. Its mega evolution is also great as well, but nothing beats the original. On a VERY close second places lies Skeledirge, which I just think has a 10/10 design. The best part is that I didn't even play Scarlet or Violet. I just saw the guy and thought "THIS GOES HARD".

I also have other Pokémon that I could say are favorites. The image below is a good indicator, but unfortunately some are absent (I'm fairly fond of Kangaskhan, for example).
