Mine is IKAGURA one of best bullet hells in my MAME library I spend a lot of time in it, SF alpha 2 is my favorite SF, when i have free time i like to play it in fightcade, but i still being very noob. The punisher, Crimzom Clover and TEKKEN 3

I have a strange fondness for the Tron arcade cabinet. It's a relatively simple game but I love to play it.

Toki of course. Though that's biased, because even though I didn't get to experience first hand this era of arcades, there was an Arcade place in my town and this was the only 80's cabinet there. Nobody really paid it any attention other than me, most were glued to the Jurassic Park 3D shooters and similar, but this thing was my jam. Hard as hell too.

It's punishingly hard. A bit like

My favorite is probably Super Sidekicks. Love that game! A shout out for Soccer Brawl too!

Hammering Harry had a sequel of sorts for GBA, also hard as nails and extremely addicting lol.

I didn't know that. I only knew there is a Hamering Harry (Hammerin' Hero) game for PSP.

Robotron 2084. Not only one of the hardest games ever but the best reflex-improving piece of software ever created.

Metal Slug saga singlehandedly carried my friends and I through middle and high school at the corner's arcade, it is also the first game to really wreck my wrist's tendons, I couldn't even hold a pencil afterwards, ah the memories.
I also liked Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2.

Street Fighter 2 was so formative for me. I used to play against my older sister and cousin at the deli (South Australian name for corner store). It was the only cabinet there and we played it to death.

Splatterhouse. It has the unmodified hockey mask, the uncensored gore, and the best graphics. (The Turbografx port has inferior graphics, less blood, and in the American version the mask is changed to red and redesigned.)

I like that it actually sends you back so you can't cheese the game with unlimited quarters on an emulator. So many arcade games have 100% of their challenge derived from the limitations of your budget. In Splatterhouse, no matter how rich you are it's not going to cut you a break. Also very cool creature design at a time when horror themes in video games were rare and limited.

METAL SLUG, ALL OF THEM, ESPECIALLY 3 AND 6

I keep losing when i play them, but they are so... they have a charm that makes me want to shove another peso anytime i die and keep trying until the end
