What's the best anime you've ever watched?

Neon Genesis Evangelion

or PSYCHO-PASS (Season one).

Since I rarely watched anime lately, I think I'll considering F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu as this year's favorite.

As for my all-time favorite, I picked Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai. The reason I picked this is, even though I initially don't really like rom-com, and this one is executed in a unique way that makes me reconsider about the genre itself, and I like it so much. Or maybe it's just me.

I think I still need to give it up to Gurren Lagann every time. Nothing will ever beat the first time I watched that series.

Holy shit, Eureka Seven, Blue Submarine No.6, Harlock and Ping Pong. Immaculate taste.

Best eh hard to pin that down. Not watched tons of anime like I assume most users here.
Probably Oh My Goddess! or Tenchi Muyo! Both are fairly entertaining. Though I really prefer anime movies.

My partner and I both really like Demon City Shinjuku and Wicked City. Oh, and Mad Bull 34

Nichijou.

It is cute, has some really heartfelt moments, has great animation & comedy and is just a lot of fun to watch. It even has a handful of scenes that I re-watch on occasion.

Honourable mention:
Ore Monogatari (My Love Story)

My personal favourite romance anime. Beautiful and relatable in many ways!

80s TV and VHS had some great series with various genres

Favourite:
Candy Candy
Getter Robo
Ulysses 31
Captain Harlock
Nils Holgerson
Igano Kabamarou
Tao Tao
Sandybell
Pinocchio
Heidi
Around the World in 80 Days
Dogtanian and the 3 Muskethounds
Maya the Bee
Aizenborg
Born Free
Panda Adventure etc

But also some meant for ages 13 and up. Of course I did not know that.

Locke the Superman
Lazerion
Andromeda Stories
Arcadia of my Youth
Windaria
Wind Warriors etc

When it comes to post 2000s, I pick Haibane Renmei

Mines has got to be neon genesis evangelion
That's a great pick , but for me I'd probably have to go with Inuyasha but there's sooo many good ones , I love getting 90s and early 2000s anime on DVD from ADV Films and Pioneer/Geneon

List of Honerable mentions I love
● Neon Genesis Evangelion
● Shonen Onmyouji
● Any of the Tenchi Muyo stuff "Universe/Tokyo for example or the movies"
● Cardcaptor Sakura
● Naruto "Including Shippuden and Boruto"
● Burst Angel

There's more I like but those would be the top ones

Yu Yu Hakusho, Kinnikuman, Street Fighter II V (the American dub's intro still gets me pumped to this day), Cromartie High School, Battle Tendency Arc of Jojo, Oishinbo, Hi-Score Girl, Dorohedoro, 60's Astro Boy (actually got a few copies of the original American dub on VHS that my mom's boyfriend got me from a pawn shop), 90's Moomin, and the 2001 version of Cyborg 009

tough choice, but probably:
Cromartie is absolutely God-tier
Post automatically merged:

Macross: Do You Remember Love
Macross Plus
Megazone 23
The first Vampire Hunter D movie
Metropolis

And obviously Ghost in the Shell and Akira but those go without saying.

Bleach was the anime that made me have a taste for anime/manga again (I used to watch anime when I was little but I didn't know it was Japanese animation, just cartoons with a different drawing style)

I think MegaloBox is one of the many Spokon series I enjoyed. I really liked the atmosphere, music, and characters. I think my great-uncle (R.I.P.) would have really enjoyed this series, being a boxing fan.

It was a surprise to discover this anime. I liked the mystery and the atmosphere, i enjoy police and detective series. Honestly, this is what "Bright" could have been.

Fun fact: later I discovered this anime is a Remake of a light novel called "Dragnet Mirage" and the main protagonists look a waaaaaaay different ::omgdoom

(Seriously, what obsession do the Japanese have with loli-bait? ::huhsonic)

Cop Craft looks cool. I swear Range Murata is similar to Yoshitoshi ABe to me, as whenever I see anything with their character designs or style I am way more likely to check it out. I'll have to give it a shot. Favorite anime; The Appleseed VHS that got me into anime in 96. Also MegaloBox was pretty good, I only finished the first season though.
