Sega ports of Dragon Force, Shining the Holy Ark, Shining Force III, Skies of Arcadia, and their failed Sakura Wars game over to PC.

Nintendo releasing games on their own PC store client to compete with Steam and let hardware relevancy fuck off to hell where it belongs.

Xbox back compat games like Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, and Panzer Dragoon Orta released on Steam without requiring Helix hardware or UWP Windows bullshit.

That Bloodborne will get an official PC port

Something like Subnautica 2 getting a real release time and the devs getting their bonus. Or a good new attempt at an MMO that doesn't flop on release.

A continuation of the Megaman X series. I'm still annoyed that X8 ended on a cliffhanger. And also Bloodborne on PC, though I don't see this ever happening considering Sony's current stance on PC ports.

Heard that one will be episodic, they said it in Chapter 2's trailer

That the industry's love affair with the immense divide between big-budget AAA titles and scratch-funded indies has ended, and we start seeing more of the experimental mid-budget titles from everyone instead of just the occasional flukes.

This isn't sustainable. Sony can't keep shuttering studios forever, and maybe Mega Man Dual Override or Game Freak's next non-Pokemon game will encourage publishers and financiers to diversify their projects a little more.

a proper "space harrier" reboot or sequel (not that half assed shit that came out on ps2)- imagine what could be done with the graphics tech we have today.

eternal champions 2 , god hand 2 , manhunt 3 , bully 2 , masters of the universe fighting game (in the style of marvel vs capcom) and a new top down GTA all get announced

All of the AAAA, AAA, and most of the AA game studios have simultaneously collapsed. As a result, all of the most talented people in the industry create dozens of small studios to fill the void and produce the games that they've always wanted to (ala Expedition 33), and NO SEQUELS for at least the next 5~10 years.. Thus beginning The Great Video Game Renaissance..

Big Konami 'I'm sorry for being a terrible money hungry game giant, let's fix and make good everything.' Redeption arc for real life.
