What would you declare as "The Worst Game" on any given platform?

Surprised nobody mentioned Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Pac-Man Fever.

Wrath of Cortex is in my opinion the worst Crash game ever made. Crash feels like he's weightless, the levels are rehashed from what the PS1 games did in the worst ways possible. Enemies in said levels might as well be brain dead there's a few levels that are in a lab and there are lab assistant's that throw chemicals in one direction. They don't follow your movement and this problem is amplified by how wide the halls of said lab are so you can literally just walk past them.

This issue is present in a lot of the levels.

Pac-Man Fever is the most bland and uninteresting Mario Party clone I've ever played. Imagine Mario Party, but none of the boards have a unique gimmick aside from their aesthetic and there's no duel specific mini games.

You can choose the length of the game via the length of the board, but even short games are a slog because movement across spaces is not decided by a roll of the dice, it is decided by how you place in the mini games. Doesn't sound bad right? Wrong. There's no Power Star equivilent and every board is literally just a race to the end. So you just got Mario Party: Oops! All Mini Games edition.

Wrath of Cortex isn’t even that bad. Sounds like you watched that pos named LS Mark. In fact, I might prefer it over It’s about time because at least it isn’t consistently frustrating and doesn’t have a fucking nearly impossible task to 100% the game and reward you with a shitty cliffhanger ending that will never get resolved. It is not the worst crash game. It’s a B Tier at best.

Admittedly I haven't played Wrath of Cortex in a while and I legit don't remember if I've watched the LSMark video. I stopped watching his stuff a while back. I didn't ever bother with 100% for It's About Time because I heard how unbearable it is.

Wrath of Cortex on PS2 is arguably the worst version of the game considering the loadings, but the game itself is fine. Sure, we had wait 2 decades for an actually proper good game (yes, "It's about time" is good. Not talking about 100% which I know is annoying, just the game itself), but I didn't mind the GC/GBA era of Crash.

well i just started playing Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter and it seemed like a solid RPG, although painfully difficult from the very beginning with very limited healing potions & no healing spells, no place to heal in towns OH and save tokens so you can only save the game if you have a token >< wtf
after ALOT of perseverance, i finally beat the 2nd boss and unlocked the "D-Counter"
which i assumed turns you into dragon mode or something once it hits 100%
but no.. once it hits 100% you get a game over..
so if you want to play a bad game i recommend BOF: Dragons Quarter.

I think that if Dragon Quarter had come out during the roguelike games craze a few years ago, it would have been much more well received. It was just too jarring of a departure from the rest of the BOF games, and roguelikes didn't have the audience in the early 2000s that they do now.

I haven't played any of these PS2 games except for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, (though on the Nintendo GameCube) but I Googled the worst PS2 games and it told me:

Catwoman, The Sopranos: Road to Respect, American Idol, 25 to Life, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Simpsons Skateboarding, Fight Club, Pimp My Ride, McFarlane's Evil Prophecy, The Shield: The Game, Mike Tyson Heavyweight Boxing, Celebrity Deathmatch, Woman's Volleyball Championship, Gravity Games Bike: Street.Vert.Dirt. and Beverley Hills Cop.

PS2 has bad games? :O
I don't know if it's bad per se, but I dislike Malice. It's too slow and the art style on the models is for me.

Give me some bad PS2 games. It can be anything, except for games from Midas & Phoenix games. Cause some of the games are published by them & that's too easy.
Idea Factory has several bad games on PS2 but it depends on your definition of "bad". Is it bad if it's boring or mediocre? Too buggy? Unplayable? Bad execution or bad art direction? Cause for any of the above, Idea Factory has you covered lol

Alternatively, there's a game called Mystic Heroes I had on GameCube that was also on PS2. It's not bad but just mediocre.

Tekken controls in a beat em up just didn't work that well when I played this

I was forced to play it for an hour doing the random game challenge. Absolute agony.

Opinions on this game seem to be pretty consistent, but I still want to play it for her

Also apparently bread and water soup is real, it's a Polish dish called "Wodzianka"

There are worse games, but I distinctly remember getting this from a flea market and my PS2 Slim miserably failing to load the roads fast enough. I was constantly crashing against invisible walls where the street should be, but where there was just empty space, which isn't fun at all when you're getting shot at.

I watched a streamer play that game, and yeah... but I don't know, you kinda have to give it to them for basically making a horny Sims conversion mod for the PS2, disregarding how shitty it is.

I can't give them any credit. If 80's movies taught me anything, they taught me that a turd can be a convincing candy bar, but its still a turd that looks like a turd.
