well first time ever I played on a PC "I grew up on consoles" Was at my best friends house and we played more than 1 game that day so I will name them.

mine was sonic mega collection plus, I played this soooo much when i was a kid. I loved playing as tails cause he could fly lol.

Honestly, the first game I think I played on PC was Jane's Tactical Aircraft Gold with my old man. He would use the flightstick and I would run radar/chaff by using the keyboard when I was a boy.

That game was extremely realistic for it's time. Shame they stopped making flight sims like that.

Ah let me see; I also remember us playing alot of Sim City 2000, Fallout 1 (I was seriously underage for that game ), Civilization 2, Alpha Centauri (Civ2 in space) and Starcraft.
But the first ever game I was given to personally own was Sega Smash Pack 2. That was a revealtion to me that emulators even existed, and 25 years later, and here we are. I played the hell out of Shining Force 1 as a boy on there, loved that game.

I cant remember which one came first but i have fond memories of playing Lego island, Zoo Tycoon, Crazy Machines, and this shovel ware game called Underwater Tycoon that sucked but permanently resides in my mind.

I think the fist pc game i bought was ray man raving rabits or Fate because i couldn't play Diablo, i still vividly remember asking my mom for Diablo and her saying no because Diablo means hell in spanish and the skeleton on the box was too spooky.

If I say the very first, first in my life, that is Mine Sweeper. I played it on a relative's PC and I was a little kid like 9 years old maybe. Later on when I grew up I got to know the name of that game.

And The first game I played on my own PC was Deadpool.

Loom on MS-DOS is the first thing that comes to mind. My Dad and me spent WEEKS just trying to get through that game....until we realized neither of us could solve that one music puzzle because we couldn't read sheet music. I never saw the ending of Loom until I was an adult and saw a comment free LP of the full game.

I was so angry to learn how close to ending we were!
