Welcome to one of the most successful game in the history of gaming !
Pokemon it will soon be retro itself so many editions so many Pokemon generations but what is your story and experience with this game ? Tell your Pokemon story !

Wondering if anyone plays Scarlet/Violet? The bug just bit me again and I'm back on them. Trying to complete the dex to get that Shiny Meloetta. I also need to finish Legends Arceus. Just wondering if there's any interest. To not feel too spammy I'll edit in what I'm looking for in a bit per game.

I have Pokemon Scarlet, though I haven't played it in March of this year, but I don't currently have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. I already have all of my 3 Dex's completed as of a few months ago, though I'm missing some of those legendaries from the Blue Berry Quests in the second DLC, (though I'm not really focused on obtaining them, but having them would be nice).

In my personal opinion my favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon black and white 2, its just so good!
The story is incredible and it improves some mechanics that are here to stay in future games of the saga!
like infinite TM's, use repellents without having to open the backpack, etc etc.

And what is your favorite game people of the entire world?

Blue. I started connecting with it recently. The fact it helped me learn about ACE (Arbitrary Execution Code) and learn more about game development and how games are coded really gave it a lot of sentimental value forme, not to mention how it’s endlessly replayable with all the stuff you can try. Brock Thru Walls is a highlight.

Nice avatar btw

Mine was Yellow... because it completely demolished a barrier I didn't even know existed. With it, suddenly I was playing my favorite TV show. That was priceless.

But I actually liked Silver more, just not for those awesome reasons.

I never play yellow much, but it's a pretty good game and it's my favorite gen 1 game personally

Silver is my other pick. That game has so much meat to it.
I play blue and silver for more “specific” code related reasons.
But if I’m playing a Pokémon game more casually, I tend to really like Sapphire.

Ruby/Sapphire, probably, though Diamond and Pearl I also enjoyed immensely. Past that, it wasn't until X/Y that I could enjoy a Pokémon game again, and I haven't since.

IMO there are better indie alternatives today that capture the spirit of past games better than Gamefreak themselves can.

Not a main tittle but a spin off:
The Pokemon Ranger Trilogy and the Mystery dungeon games. The thing I liked the most about the rangers games was that they felt conected. It was cool seeing this big organization and learning about it's presence in different regions and even some characters of 2 returns in the third game. And in the case of the mystery dungeon games I really like the story (especially in Explorers of the Darkness/Sky. And Grovyle is the MVP)

Mine is Pokemon ?and?
very good ones!

PMD is very fun, true. I prefer the Shiren games slightly, but it's all very nice.

Take a good look at Cyndaquil and tell me Crystal isn't your favorite.
Emerald, Colosseum, XD.. I just love playing Pokemon.

Pokemon Colosseum and XD, it's my first time seeing a 3D Pokemon games and it was great

2D though, I would go with Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, Black and White 2 and Pokemon Pinball (The greatest game of all time)

Pokemon pinball was so fun to play!

The original Red. Core memories of playing at home on the couch on my new Game Boy Pocket.

It wouldn't hold up as well as other, more recent games, but it will always be my favorite for that first experience.

I agree with B/W2, it is the most feature rich of the entire series.
All the Stuff you can do after you beat the Game is just so good .
It went only downhill afterwards.

But as you stated, the Main Game is also awsome.
I also like the Pokemon included in the Game, they don't look too cheap or outlandish.
