What kind of survival horror type are you?

I definitely see myself more as a OTS type character that is more in line with Evil Within 2, Dead Space, RE2R, Alan Wake 2, or Shadows of the Damned.

I'm like Fiona in Haunting Ground, really fucking frustrating to control properly when scared

I want to be intentionally crippled by the controls as much as possible to increase the helplessness of my character and make them feel like less of a badass. The camera should feel like it's being controlled by someone who's actively working against me to disorient me and hide monsters off-screen. I also want to be mindfucked raw by unpredictable rules that change when you least expect it. So yeah, basically early Silent Hill.

I prefer the Dead Space, modern Resident Evil and Callisto Protocol over-the-shoulder. Although I prefer atmosphere over action. Not a big fan of the new Resident Evil 4, with nonstop action, parries and grabs.

I haven't played much survival horror, but yeah, the RE2 and 3 remakes and RE4 are what I like.

But the Fatal Frames literally combine 3 of them... I can't vote in a single answer!
Went with OTS RE4/5. I like these games that combine tactical movement & positioning with anchored shooting!

Dead Space style is my preference, but something like Half-Life is always welcome.
