A Super Nintendo that I bought in September of 1997 with the sole intention of importing every Hokuto no Ken game. I eventually imported zero of them, but I picked up a lot of the classic stuff that came out in the US for pretty reasonable prices at that time. Stores still had new stock on a lot of Player's Choice titles, so Zelda/Mario/etc were all $19 new. Tracked down stuff like the Mario All-Star + World card, Chrono Trigger, etc. Good times.

Then switch is. (Switch is sometimes considered hybrid, but i'm using it mostly on tv)

If ds is counted, then NDS for me.

I skipped wiiU back then because my work was not cool enough to buy console, i bought pc instead. My second is snes

I believe after the SNES I didn't buy another Nintendo console until the Wii, so the Wii was my third console in the Nintendo line, with the NES and SNES being first and second respectively.

Now, if we're counting the handhelds, I suppose the SNES was my third, as it would then be 1. NES 2. Game Boy 3. SNES. But since you said console and I don't count handhelds as consoles, per se then yeah, the Wii.

Gamecube. NES -> SNES -> Playstation -> GameCube
I wanted one specifically because it had cool games I wanted to get, especially Mario Kart Double Dash and Zelda Wind Waker, my first Zelda experience. I actually did not have many games on NES. One really, nor on SNES, more than one but still.
If we count handhelds as consoles it is GameBoy Color tho. I would have liked it to be GBA.
If we separate handhelds, DS lite is my third Nintendo handheld. And easily a favorite.

I didn't even want it, to be honest. I bought it from a friend who bought it for their kid, and the kid didn't want it. Since they had lost the receipt for it, I think at that time it was around 250 bucks, something like that. I bought it for roughly 115 USD. It sat in its box for about a year before I ever opened it up myself. I had no real interest in it until I saw a YouTube video showing a modded one. And Brother did it get ripped out of the closet toot sweet

I wish Wii U was my actual 3rd but it was my 3rd encounter.
My real 3rd was Switch but coming from the N3DS XL...I was disappointed, and it's where my interest in future Nintendo systems faded but...I might keep it for the modding potential.
