Yes, especially the OLED Model which has a better screen although it is somewhat expensive, that's true.

I wanted one specifically because it had cool games I wanted to get, especially Mario Kart Double Dash and Zelda Wind Waker, my first Zelda experience. I actually did not have many games on NES. One really, nor on SNES, more than one but still.
If we count handhelds as consoles it is GameBoy Color tho. I would have liked it to be GBA.
If we separate handhelds, DS lite is my third Nintendo handheld. And easily a favorite.

And as a curiosity my dad bought the Wii U in 2016 for having earned good grades in school and also that the Wii U that my dad has bought me came with the Mario Kart 8 (2014) game pre-installed on the console and also that my sister wanted to buy The Legend of Zelda games such as Hyrule Warriors (2014) and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (2016) and with the Wolf Link Amiibo and it's also because my sister is a fan of The Legend of Zelda Saga as well. But what matters is that the effort of something gets the reward.
