Cartoons What is your opinion about Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures? its good or bad?

When i was very little, like 5 or 7 years old i watched a Video Game cartoon on Gloob called Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Pac-Man e as Aventuras Fantasmagoricas in my country) and i LOVED this show (Because its a video game cartoon based on pac-man, my first contact with pac-man is with a flash version of the first game and Pac-Xon) I liked the characters (Specialy Pac-Man), the villain is nice, Pinkie is one of my Childhood crushes, the episodes are very good, the ost is energetic, the games based on the show looked incredible when i watched on youtube and overall its a pretty good show but after watching all seasons of the show on netflix i moved on and i never heard from this series again until i decided to pirate some games and seached for pac-man games and one of the games that i found is the one that i watched on youtube so many years ago and now i began to play it for the first time in years and... its good, its not a masterpiece but its good.


and thats my story with the (Pac is back) version of the character and now i want to know the opinion of other people about the show (and the games based on the show) and my question is: What is your opinion about pac-man and the ghostly adventures? its good or its bad?

I still remember some of the characters and one of them is called sir obtuse.

I also used to watch it during it's peak of popularity and got a pair of toys, it was decent from what I remember and I definitely liked the experiment of making pac-man's world (lol) like that, even if it fell in way too many cliches at once.

As for the games, the first one is a pretty mediocre tie-in platformer with one of the worst final bosses I've ever seen, and the 2nd game is a massive improvement and is actually a solid game with an actual final boss.

It irks me more that the 3DS version of the first one was supossedly made by Inti Creates (Makers of the Zero/ZX Megamans and a lot of amazing 2D games) but the result is yet another licensed shovelware tie-in with barely anything that makes their games stand out, guess that they needed the money for Gunvolt.

I was old enough at the time of airing to remember fondly the original design and game, I had also played a lot o Pac-Man World 1 on PS1. But at the same time I was to young to recognize that there were talented people trying to make a good product in the shows productions. So my reaction at time was I hate it because it's different and to childish LOL. Nowadays I am more neutral towards the cartoon, it probably introduced a lot of children to the character, an that is good. Still hate the art direction though.. Pac-Man looks like a bald middle age man that just wants to keep grilling

I remember when Disney XD aired the episodes, then it just disappeared. I tried the 3ds version of the game and I hated it. Although, I have a soft spot for a lot of the characters. I can't get over that Skeebo (The Jock Character) is voiced by Matt Hill ( The same guy that voiced Kira Yamato in Gundam SEED).

I liked it as a kid and I played the first game on 360. Nowadays, I find both to be painfully mediocre.

I won't deny that the show had a lot of interesting ideas.

Eu assistia quando criança e achava o máximo, tipo, "UOOU VIDEO GAME NA TV GUYS". Esses dias eu zerei o Pac Man 2 de SNES em call e a gente foi ver um episódio do desenho e pra ser sincero o desenho é bem medíocre kkkk


É divertido de se ver zoando entretanto.
