What is your First Sony Console? ~ Cuál es tu Primera Consola de Sony?

I can still remember that my parents bought me this game for my birthday namco museum vol 2 playstation this is a collection of some retro games nothing special but very entertaining.
The ps1 game I play from a Family Member was Doom and Ridhe Racer. Also some Tomb Raider

the psone (the small boi). a family friend gave me a modded version back in 2002 with a bunch of burned cds! that was the best day of my life::hellmo

The original Playstation one was my first one. I tried it after first experiencing the N64 and it was definitely a major step up; cemented me as a Playstation fanboy since.

PlayStation 1.

Bought if through my first after school job.

Imagining myself playing that sweet, gray... oval was the only thing keeping me going.

The Fat PS2, originally bought it to play Final Fantasy games from then on it introduced me to so many good games like God of War and Metal Gear.

My first ps1 was this lil guy after begging and convincing my folks that my n64 was obsolete. I got caught up on my final fantasies and my metal gears. The next move two years later was convinving them PS2 was sick because DVDs.

I dont live with my parents anymore and have to scam myself for new stuff.

i got a ps2 for christmas back in 2003. i remember getting dragonball z budokai, jak and daxter, and viewtiful joe 2 with it.

Although I had the Super Slim at Christmas 2011 that came with 5 games included in the Gamer Kit (White Box).

Fat PS2 SCPH10000, purchased in NE China in 2001

Still got it, think it still works, it's been a while and I upgraded a few years later so it got boxed. Poor console went through every mod you can imagine. The S-Box (which I did save) that spits out the disc and you had to quickly switch to a backup in a lightning 2 seconds space, then some 'press power 5 times' to activate modchip mod, then a basic modchip that just did everything and no fancy button tactics, and then (finally!) some super deluxe modchip (DMS Pro?) It has a modchip menu, etc. Travelled to and through at least 10 different countries.

I really should check if it still works!

The kind of console you'd want buried with you by your side in the coffin. :)

Incredible your story about the PS2 Model Fat you had.

Ah the Classic and wich game was your first game
My First PS1 Game was the Mega Man X3 (Even though I played it in the Mega Man X Collection on the GameCube in 2008 and also that it was an emulated port of PS1 but official by Capcom).

Had the very first PS1, even with the issue regarding the lense overheating. First games I've played were Gunner's Heaven (Rapid Reload in Europe) and the Demo Disc 1. Man good times.

Original PS1. I still remember going over to Best Buy on my lunch break from work and spending my whole paycheck on the console and Final Fantasy 7 which had just come out. It wasn't until I got home and had been playing for a while that I realized that I needed a memory card to save the game.

Superb my Friend but I understand about the memory card issue that you couldn't load/save a game without it, although the first PS1 games had password systems.

This reminds me of a little something. One day I was on my way to my local videogame shop when I saw my cousin going there too. After a couple of minutes of conversation, I found out he was on his way to swap Final Fantasy 7 for something else. The reason? He had no idea how to save the game! I immediately stopped him and taught him how to do it. This changed his fate forever. He's one of those nuts who spent literally hundreds of hours trying to clone Sephiroth or Zack and trying to resurrect Aerith.

Your experiences of being able to save the game of this game seemed that it was not possible but it was despite being a fairly long game.
