Even today you rarely see, something like the multiple routes in Out run. The only ones I can think for is Multi racing Championship(n64) and Kat's Run snes and the Out Run sequels. This racing game is curious.

And also those Arcade Racing games were impressive for the time.
For the first game in the Mario Kart series, it's fine to be the beginning of the many Mario sub-sagas.super mario kart!![]()

It's okay to be your first Formula 1 racing game for Arcade although it also had ports such as the Atari 2600 for example.pole position.
I also played that version and I also played the arcade version.
The arcade version was so much better. But I had alot of fun with the home release at the time.I also played that version and I also played the arcade version.
I understand you friend. The arcade version was so much better. But I had alot of fun with the home release at the time.
Only thing I ever did in this game was blow up my engine.
Back then it actually took me a while to comprehend WTF this game is lol.

Need for Speed III is a good Need for Speed game but it is not for everyone because it is a difficult game because I never passed the first level of championship mode or with the 3 cars available in the game I could not pass it either, I was always in 6th, 7th or last place and I feel that I can't handle the game and there was no choice but to abandon the game. But I prefer the fourth installment (Need for Speed: High Stakes/Road Challenge) because is fairer and more fun although you needed to replay the tournament cups to get more money to be able to buy more cars to participate in the next cup tournaments yes, but at least you had good memories with those Racing games at that time. When I got a PS1 for my eleventh birthday I had this and Cool Boarders 3. Both are technically "racing" games, but this one was the standout.

I definitely couldn't finish it either. I could scrape through the tier with the Porsche 911 (I think there was a Ferrari Maranello in that level as well), but those upper stages with the McLaren and Lamborghini were too rich for my blood.Need for Speed III is a good Need for Speed game but it is not for everyone because it is a difficult game because I never passed the first level of championship mode or with the 3 cars available in the game I could not pass it either, I was always in 6th, 7th or last place and I feel that I can't handle the game and there was no choice but to abandon the game. Can't leave this one out. The first arcade racing game I've ever played is Midway's Crusin' World. A staple in my childhood ventures to Chuck E. Cheese & in general, my all time favorite arcade racer.View attachment 115178
It's okay friend that you started with those racing games back then. Although I did get to play Hot Wheels: Stunt Track Challenge but in the PS2 version and it's fun.For me, it would've been either the original Forza Motorsport, or Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge, both on the original Xbox. However, I think my first car game would have been Hot Wheels Bash Arena.
