Great game although it is a Rom emulated through the physical SFC/SNES emulator for PS2.

Weirdly enough, I remember very specifically that mine was "Smuggler's Run 2: Hostile Territory". My parents certainly just got 'a driving game' for my brother and I to package with it as a Christmas present. Thanks mom and dad!

SR2 is far from my favorite PS2 game, but I had a ton of fond memories of discovering it, and the new system, with my brother. My parents forgot to get us a memory card, so I replayed the opening few levels of it pretty endlessly until I saved up and that was rectified a few months later. Never played Smuggler's Run 1. lol

I haven't played this game but it looks good for a racing game and thank you for telling the story with the game.

And as a curiosity, the Gran Turismo 4 game that I played was through the PS2 Super Slim Gamer Kit that came with 5 Gift games and among them was that one but in the White Box although the Gran Turismo 4 is also included in the Blue Box Gamer Kit but in the Greatest Hits version.

But I also remember that my sister and I played it in competitive so that which of the 2 would arrive first and also to try to pass the bronze license tests at least to participate in the rest of the events of the game and win all the circuits of such an event in 1st to unlock a car in your collection and also to replay the unique circuits and championships of such an event in order to earn money to buy improvements for the car or buy a new car or used car, etc.

El mio fue el Sly Cooper 2. Venia con la PS2 slim y básicamente fue mi introducción tanto a la consola como a la franquicia de Sly. Hasta el día de hoy no tengo ni idea donde estara el disco, pero aun asi juegazo

Yo lo jugué pero en emulación vía PCSX2 en PC y es maravilloso aunque me costó configurar el juego pa' que ejecutara decentemente aunque a veces se ralentizaba en algunas áreas y además que jugué la versión Europea del juego porque estaba en Español pero funcionaba a 50Hz pero aún así el Sly 2 es un juegazo pero es difícil de emular el juego en PCSX2.

I actually convinced my mom to buy it before we even had a PS2, simply because the game said you get to blow $@!& up, BLOW IT ALL UP, and RIP THE GALAXY A NEW ONE. It had one of the most accurate ad campaigns I remember- I certainly look back upon the destruction I caused and smile.

I've played it and it's good for the first game in the R&C series and I even played the sequels as well, which were great as well.
