What is your first Nintendo Console? ~ Cuál fue tu Primera Consola de Nintendo?

The Nintendo Famicom (Japanese version of the NES). As kids, we were mostly playing on an Apple 2. Then the computer store we bought games for somehow had a Famicom and our eyes popped open when we saw the owner playing Super Mario Brothers. We were Donkey Kong fans at the time, mostly playing at the arcade and the Atari 2600 version (where Donkey Kong was portrayed as a big humanoid shaped red blob). The latest Mario game we knew was Mario Brothers. Seeing Super Mario Brothers with arcade type graphics and seeing the mushroom and the Super Star power ups was magical.

Of course, we got a Famicom later on. Nintendo wasn't selling it here though and we still don't have official Nintendo support up to this day. The Chinese owned stores (like the computer store we bought from) somehow started importing Famicoms from Japan into my country and it must have been selling well. Funny thing is, there were already bootleg Famicom carts available early on (at least here) even when the machine was starting to gain fame.

A white DSi that I fixed a couple months ago after it was forgotten in a box for over a decade, now I rock on that thing every day that I go out alongside my other portables :]

It's so hard to pick, but my very first console ever was an NES so I suppose that counts for something

SNES > NES > N64 > GBC > GC > GBA > DS > Wii > 3DS > Switch

I'm not 100% on the GBA and Gamecube, the order of those two could be reversed. But I think I have it correct.

I had the GBA SP for my 3rd birthday but later I did get a GameCube. It came with Mario Sunshine and SpongeBob: Battle For Bikini Bottom. Later I would get Melee, DK Jungle Beat, and Kirby Air Ride for it.

Nes, my mom loved the arcades before having me, and she wanted to keep playing some vidya. Tho I always wonderer why she didn't buy an atari, most of the arcades in our city (before the death/arrest of the owner of the biggest arcade center) were atari-like games.

A Game Boy Pocket...which I lost.

An original Gameboy DMG grey unit with purple buttons.

To this day super Mario Land 2 is peak Mario for me. I didn't own any Nintendo home systems until the 'cube so my Mario favourites are a weird bunch lmao
