YES! The amount of anime and games my friends got through mIRC during high school was unreal, enough to watch and play for years. At that time, not even all of us got internet at home yet, so we were on a constant rotation of burnt CDs.

I mean, shit like romsfun.com is still up with everything Nintendo but Switch n the all-Switch site switchrom.net is still goin fine as well n both are quite readily visible from even the most generic default romsearch, so no... probably not yet

Greetings, everyone ! Knowing that I was born and raised in a CIS country, it was a Torrent website, not sure which one, it was more than 10 years ago.

Back then piracy could happen via torrent but roms were on websites too, so first pirate website I used was for GBA roms that later on started to upload NDS games but I don't remember its name. It had a quota system so couldn't download much games a day, possibly you could pay for the website to remove the quota? It been like around 15 years since I saw the website lol.

I so would have been one of those friends... My parents were cheap as hell and didn't want to pay for the internet. I was constantly asking and begging for stuff. My friends were cool, though, so I always got what I asked for.

They removed every rom that flagged DMCA there but you can still access some of the roms there. Google is your friend.
