What is your first ever pirate site you went to?

I have no idea what your talking about officer. I've never visited one of that there piracy sites in my life
"no, officer, this eye patch n hook n peg-leg? Halloween, sir. It's *always* Halloween in THIS town." *amateur-composed dramatic suspenseful music ensues*

Amiga BBS back then :)
Snesorama, Romhustler
TheIsoZone had an incredible wide download section, yet from when it was splitted in two sites at the begin (cannot remember the names atm); i was an active user there for a couple of years (mostly Dreamcast stuff)

and plenty o grog!
ofc... why else would my dogs be merry enough to be hangin from the chandelier ceiling fan thing? wait... that's not a chand or a fan... it's part of the roof broken-through O_o

N-Roms and Cool Rom, just free games, no ads or pop ups and such bs, they had most Nintendo consoles covered. Emu Paradise for PS2, GC and Wii games. Since those are down and not everything is available here, you have to resort to some sketchy sites hosting games for 3DS, 360, PS3 etc.

for Software in general, good old Fosi.

for games, Vimms lair & home of the underdogs in early 2000s, downloading at 1 MB sec from university and recording it on iomega zip drive and cdroms

In late 90s it was far more convenient to visit a huge pirate music, movies and software sale inside a university gate for cd games, instead of downloading from Internet. Eventually authorities intervened but you could find many pc and ps1 cd games
