N-Roms and Cool Rom, just free games, no ads or pop ups and such bs, they had most Nintendo consoles covered. Emu Paradise for PS2, GC and Wii games. Since those are down and not everything is available here, you have to resort to some sketchy sites hosting games for 3DS, 360, PS3 etc.

The first one was Emux.com, it even hosted SNES and Genesis roms in 2 or 3 parts that were uploaded straight from floppy disks, extracted with a Super Magic Drive.

In late 90s it was far more convenient to visit a huge pirate music, movies and software sale inside a university gate for cd games, instead of downloading from Internet. Eventually authorities intervened but you could find many pc and ps1 cd games
