My personal favorite and best will always be MadWorld. It doesn't have the most combat depth, but makes up for it with style, visual aesthetics, enemy and boss variety, multiple weapons with different move sets, and environmental hazards that are much as dangerous to as they are the mooks your killing. The soundtrack has not aged a day, and still great listen on its own. The story is a great one off as well. I love No More Heroes 1 & 2, but I don't find them as replayable as MadWorld. Like NMH, it uses the motion controls to the full extent, making combat and movement perfectly air tight. I can't even imagine playing this game on regular controllers, if it ever got ported to either Switch consoles.
I will give a shout out to Oneechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers/Revolution. Not the best on the system, but pretty decent for a low budget action game. The game has vertical splt-screen co-op, but only in Free Mode and Survival Mode for some reason. The main campaign is single player only, and you have to at least beat the game once with Aya or Saki to unlock Free Mode.
