Mozzarella and parmesan! Especially buffalo mozzarella and highly season parmesan. 60 months+ seasoned parmesan is my absolute favorite, I’d eat it everyday lol
In fact, the main problem with regular mozzarella (the kind you find in supermarkets) is that it has no flavor and is often made with frozen milk of questionable origin. A mozzarella that actually has taste is the artisanal buffalo kind, especially when enjoyed at room temperature. The only available or rather common use cheese here is cheddar, so
Mozzarella are popular to put on almost everything but idk if it how it taste or its a cheap knockoff but they kinda have no taste at all
I completely agree. A friend from the Netherlands brought some over for us once. It was so good and my favorite cheese. I haven't tasted anything like it since.Gouda can't be beat. I had plenty of the real shit when I was living in the Netherlands, but since I returned to the states it's a high I've been chasing ever since. No gouda I've had here even comes close. I'd guess the US dairy laws have something to do with that. Otherwise, cheddar cheese curds are the best reason to live in the Midwest. Deep fried or not, they are the perfect snack. I could eat feta with a spoon as well. Ultimately, I'm happy with most any cheese. ?
