Can Zelda be underrated? If yes, then I'd say Cadence of Hyrule might be underrated. A rhythm-based spin-off probably isn't nearly as popular as most mainline entries.
I don't know what most people consider the most hated/overrated, but I wasn't a fan of Tears of the Kingdom or Twilight Princess.
The CDI Zelda games gave us epic memes!
Too true! Just you watch, they'll make a comeback. Same thing is happening with Bubsy as we speak ::eggmanlaugh

Way, WAY back in the day before the majority of the posters here were born the trendy game to hate was Windwaker because of its cartoon artstyle which is funny because that made it age like a fine wine and better than games that tried to be realistic.

Wind Waker is my favourite. I agree though, that the visuals still look great. I might be a bit biased ::cirnoshrug Part of why I don't like Twilight Princess is because the art style is kinda off-putting. I guess it matches the tone well enough, but it's just a bit rough and unpleasant to look at most of the time.

The graphics still look nice but that doesn't stop the game from being mostly a big empty ocean that's a chore to cross. Also it was a step down from OOT in number of dungeons and it had that stupid tingle triforce fetch quest to round off the game. It's also the only Zelda game I've played where I've never seen the game over screen. It was ridiculously easy.

i haven't seen any hate back then for it outside some places online. The art style is cool.

The sailing is a drag, I can agree with you there. So much so that in the Wii-U remake you have the option to buy faster sails.

I don't know. I find the sailing relaxing ::cirnoshrug To the point that I've enjoyed a few other games that had a similar sailing mechanic

Man was that discussion so exhausting back then. "Link isn't for babies why does he look like a powerpuff girl durrrrrrrrrrr" kind of shit just nonstop. Then the game came out and of course it was fine.

just use the Wind Waker to redirect the wind and set sail in that direction
