Thinking too fast. When I was like 14 I had a stupid habit of trying to finish someone's sentences because I didn't like there to be awkward pauses and sort of anticipated them in advance, but I was just a stupid kid and it usually caused more awkward pauses if anything.

Basically this, so I'll stick to a safe one.

Had a crush on a girl from a different church than me (it was about an hour away--our love was already forbidden, but my romantic inclinations saw no valley too great to cross). Found out she didn't have a boyfriend and excitedly rushed off to tell a friend the excellent news. Inches from him, I tripped on a power cable sticking out of an outlet, tumbled, then leapt up straight into the air shouting, "Eyyy! I'm okay!"

Unbeknownst to me, she had moved from where I last saw her and was standing two feet away from me when this all happened--along with about two dozen other people. I not only shamed myself in front of my crush, but several others, including my friend. Thankfully, I think they all thought I was just being goofy, but that moment lives on in my head rent free.

Dude there's many but the was one time I was 7 or 8 at a birthday party and I unkowiningly ate a muffin that had lizard poop on it. Didn't notice it it until I was chewing it cuz it kind had the same color as dark chocolate. Thought it tasted funky then I trew up and made a mess.
Lizards are pretty common where I grew up, usually hanging on walls and ceilings.

Not embarrassing enough but still haunts me, i got food poisoning in a family wedding (second degree cousins)…and had to use special underwear because we were far from home. I was 8 years old at the time
