You're really just listing rpgs at this point, Gothic is not a JRPG either. I'm surprised you didnt list fallout honestly.Gothic

I didn't even mention Racing Lagoon but I was tempted lol.Yeah but they are good games.
They turn into a JRPG when you play them in Japanese lolol.Ah yes Diablo and Gothic my favorite JRPGs
But they arent JRPG's. Might as well add Super Mario World, Medal of Honor Frontline and Tekken 2 since they are good gamesYeah but they are good games.
Yes I got it. If you write something wrong here you will be condemned immediately. I just thought RPGs I didn't think of Japanese RPGs.But they arent JRPG's. Might as well add Super Mario World, Medal of Honor Frontline and Tekken 2 since they are good games
Mhm. That's why I recommended modern JRPGs because they are more like how today's games are so they are ok for newcomers to the genre. They are also close to how non-JRPGs are.I think for a newcomer would be good to start with something more modern to get the feel for the genre with all the QoL things it gathered over time. I know its a retro forum but hear me out. I played a lot of JRPGs (mostly old), despite not having them as a kid so I guess I was pretty new to the genre myself, and the key word here is "played" because, while enjoying my time with them, I never finish them. The only ones I actually beaten were Tales of Berseria and Persona 5 (and Parasite Eve if it counts as a JRPG). Therefore I recommend starting with Persona 5 even though it seems like a basic beach choice (believe me, I hate how Atlus been milking it dry for years now). Or maybe try Dragon Quest XI that I almost finished but got distracted by something else. Its a perfect blend of oldschool and modern in one very cool package. I really enjoyed it overall.
Nah. It's just the OP specifically asked JRPGs and there is "Windows" tag here so our options got limited into a specific asked way lol.Yes I got it. If you write something wrong here you will be condemned immediately. I just thought RPGs I didn't think of Japanese RPGs.
I am watching your every move and waiting for you to mess up. Don't ever make a mistake in my watch again. If you write something wrong here you will be condemned immediately.
