I must be going through a crazy period at the moment, because for some reason I decided to play all the Resident Evil games (not including the awful spin-offs).

To put that in context, it means mostly playing the best possible versions of the originals followed immediately by the remakes.

So for example, it will go something like this...

RE1: Seamless HD - > Then the remake.
RE 0: HD remake (no point playing the original as far as I can tell - correct me if I'm wrong)
RE2: Seamless HD - > Then the remake.
RE3: Seamless HD -> Then the remake.
RE: Code Veronica: PS3
RE4: Ultimate HD
RE5: Gold
RE6: Gold.
RE7: Gold.
RE8/Village: Gold.

I also need to figure out how "RE:Revelations" fits into this. But you get the idea...
Hey, do you watch any streams on Twitch? I am also fan of the RE franchise, love it way too much

I recently tried Postal 1 on Android.

I first I found the touch controls to be atrocious (and to the point where I couldn't even beat the first level), then I understood what the devs wanted me to do with those and it became a blast... literally.
Touch controls are awful for pretty much anything except games like candy crush ::lol

Rayman 2 the great scape, "Dreamcast" (and by "dreamcast" i mean the flycast emulator)

It turned out to be interesting and fun, and it's the only game I've played in a while, though I haven't made much progress yet. I hope to finish it sometime this year.

Replaying final fantasy VII again and having just as much fun as I did the first time I played it.

Revelations 1 takes place after 4 and before 5, Revelations 2 takes place alongside 6 as they take place the same year.

just killing time and playing kingdom hearts - chain of memories in a visualboy advance emulator...
in a borrowed windows xp laptop.
must reach again to reverse/rebirth mode. that is pending.

thanks to god, I have so many backups, at the least, with the roms.
in retrospect, I'm getting used to the idea of having a computer graveyard behind me, in my entire life.
man, I'm shocked thinking about this.

Been spending the entire day fixing custom bubbles for all my non-Vita games on my Vita, and I finally reached a point where I'm mostly satisfied, so I celebrated with playing some Freedom Unite on it to get back into the game. Looks like I used a Longsword last time I played but I'd rather use a greatsword so I'm gonna grind some materials to get a good one. Still just in the beginning of the game though.

Man, I love this machine.

Gunlance carried me to G-rank in MHFU. I had to switch to longsword when I went up against silver rathalos, though. I remember just not being able to do it with anything other than LS.

Lance is my favorite weapon overall, but I was worried I wasn't gonna do enough damage playing solo so I opted for something more aggressive instead.

Starting to miss it though...

I picked up Final Fantasy XI on the steam sale and I'm loving it so far.

All I've ever heard is how archaic and unintuitive it is and it definitely is but I'm having a lot of fun just exploring and finding things on my own. I've had a couple quests where I immediately knew exactly where to go just because I accidentally stumbled into that area while looking for something else. It's neat.

Just finished the Mega Man X8 16-bit, a fan-made demake. It was pretty good aside from audio mixing issue and a few gripes with some stages. Overall it was an improved experience from the original.
Currently playing Goodboy Galaxy, a homebrew GBA game. If this was released in the GBA heyday it would probably be near the top of alot of people's lists.

The rules of this thread are simple: Post what video game you're currently playing, what platform you're playing it on, and what you think of it. Feel free to comment on the choices of your fellow members, too.

I'll begin: I just finished my second playthrough of Castle Quest on Gameboy (and by "Gameboy", I mean the Delta emulator on my iPhone), and had a blast doing so! This game is a really neat combination of chess and War (the card game), and makes a great series of little strategy puzzles whenever you have a few minutes to spare. I've beaten both this version and the original on NES before (the Gameboy one is preferable, as it has more content), but I found out through The Cutting Room Floor that there's actually a secret level I never knew about, so that was justification enough for another go. Highly recommended!

I've also been trying to 1CC the NES version of Castlevania for the past several months, and by golly, is it ever hard! This is the only CV game I've played extensively, and while I like to think I'm getting better at it – I just beat Death without using the holy water, score! – I can't defeat Dracula's first form without losing all my lives. The game is very fun, but I can only do two or three run-throughs a day before I feel my life force being drained out of me – which, being a game about vampires, I suppose is the point.

(Finally – I get to be the one posting this thread topic on a new forum! I'll accept my congratulations in the form of gold or NVIDIA stock. ::banana)
Despise my usual games ive been play Baroque on my psp, it has a nice atmosphere and the songs are eerie so i give it bonus points hehe, the graphics is what you would expect of some "horror" game from ps1 it reminds me a lil of Galerians so if you like it give Baroque a try!

Also ive been playing Futari wa Precure Arienai! Yume no Kuni wa Daimeikyuu- which is suposed to be for children but idc- it tells the story of the magical girl anime Futari wa precure, the grafics are pretty and cute, the mechanics are very simple and even if you dont speak japanese- sadly the only language available for it- you can easily play by your instincts. Im using a GBA emulator for psp to play

images of both games:

I'm playing Shadow Hearts on PS2 and Katawa Shoujo on PC. On Katawa Shoujo I just have 2 routes left: Lilly and Shizune. For Shadow Hearts I think I'm halfway through the game.I'm at the part of the game where I teleported to some alien ship and I just beat a couple of bosses after arriving. After those games I'm planning on playing Super Mario RPG, probably.

I'm playing Palworld on my own time and playing Spider: The Video Game on my Youtube channel. Might play Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter to see if it's really as bad as some people say.
