Every year i set goals for myself, I would like to know what you all have planned to build on this year?

For me, i have is finishing my Transflow course amongst other AI related stuff.

A lot of things really, whether that be cooking, baking, writing, drawing, games, emulations, new hardware and software

But I'll definitely focus on drawing for now ::dkapproves

I plan to improve my Spanish this year - a friend of mine moved to Mexico a while ago and when I last visited her I realized just how little I actually retained from school.

Oh and I wanna learn a couple baking recipes! I love cooking (and I like to think that I'm pretty dang good at it), but I never really gave baking a try.

I believe in you, and having some one to practice it with, will re-enforce your learning. If you knew a lot, it might be a case of muscle memory. Good vibes be a sending you!

I want to learn Korean. Have been off and on with it for the past year, but now that I have my life in order again (somewhat), I hope I'll be able to keep consistently practicing.

You can do it, and from my understanding, often Asian girls / guys also want to learn other languages, so you might be in for a new friend. Try your best!

I would love for the two of us to share recipes, heh.

Quit smoking tobacco.
There are some interesting options for this today, much more then when i stopped smoking. If you do try, just be careful, when i stopped smoking i ended up stress eating for a bit.

I believe in you!

Learn another language, maybe Italian
You can do it!

I could put on some weight, I got that metabolism where I eat 10000 calories to maintain a slim/athletic build of 150, at 40.

Get into better shape. I’ve been neglecting my body for too long and I already did some changes these past months like almost entirely cutting out candy/bad sugar.

(I guess it’s not as much learning a thing as a lifestyle change, but I’ll have to learn to maintain it!)

Same here kinda. I really wanna make valuable progress in Spanish. I’m still beyond shit.

No one is shit, your just at the start of a long journey, and with work you can overcome barriers. Remember, taking the first step to a climb may feel hard, and hardest the closer we get to the top. But once we are at our peak, we will feel grate at the accomplishment!

"Make your self ready for the climb"

Sorry if that sounds corny, but this is how i feel about starting any thing.

Maybe to write fiction.

I have always admired its writers, but I don't know how to convey a plot.
Tones of books out there which can help you with that, not to mention writing styles, you will only know if you try.

It is a goal and that's all we need. You can do it!

Give it a go, any progress is good. Just make sure to assure your goals are S.M.A.R.T ones, as they will help you feel better no matter how small progress you make.

Would love to see your work some time!

No it didn’t sound corny. You’ve very well spoken.

Actually, I want to learn more about Buddhism.
Deep subject with many branches, you can learn traditional, mainstream, even the version with the five Gods of fortune.

Which did you want to try?

You remember that Buddha fasted for 8 years, subsisting off 3 hemp seeds a day?
And that time he waited 3 times, or that time Steven Seagal threw that guy into a spring after he told him to ask him what the buddhas nature.

I wanna learn how much you have to donate to get deified like Steven Seagal.
