Discord is only for me to keep in touch with my small circle of friends. I agree with the negative sentiment about Discord, though.
Never used Discord, i don't like to talk with people in general.
Probably just as annoying too /jThis is funny, when i posted this i didn't have Discord.
Now i have, and i like to react with gay flags on people comments, but i still hate talking in general.
The Dragon from My Little Pony dumbass. /jWhat's Discord?

100% apps these days do not respect a persons time and privacy and try to keep us wired and worn out. Barriers are needed for a healthy mind and to recuperate.i only use discord now to keep in touch with my very very very close friends. if possible, i'd like to get us to all migrate off the app seeing as how its now owned by an EX Blizzard CFO and has gone public on the stock market ayy lmao. the problem is that screen sharing the way u can on discord is kinda rare it seems on other VoIP services but idk.
ive been using discord practically since the app was made back in 2015 almost 10 years ago now (i made my original account in Nov 2015). i ended up deleting that one back during last Christmas and made a new one just for my personal friends.
honestly ive grown to absolutely loath "devices" as my parents call them. think phones, computers, game systems, etc. i spent way too long cooped up in my room escaping from reality and living online that i lost myself. I find that especially nowadays, everything online is engineered to suck away as much time, energy, money, and emotional stability from us as possible. its extremely toxic and id much rather life in the real world, thank you very much.
this forum is a nice way of putting up and building that Online|IRL barrier. discord always caused me to always "keep myself available" in case someone needed me or wanted to talk. it wasnt healthy. having boundaries with my devices and being able to step away and do my own things has had such a positive influence on my life. i legit have made more progress on my life and my goals in the past 4 months than i had the last 9 years of my life combined LOL
tl;dr: Discord sux ass, stay away LMAO
