It just looks off. I don't know how else to express the unease I feel when I look at it.

Maybe that's the point and the artists are geniuses.

They are making a 5th movie man let some movies be dead is it not enough we got 10 fast and furious movies. And honestly Shrek quit being good after the second movie.

That's what market research does to a movie exec's brain. Avoid trying anything new or creatively ambitious at all costs and milk every established IP you can get your grubby mitts on until it bleeds to death.

This stuff look so fan-made, that I can't tell it's made by DreamWorks or not. It's not helping because DreamWorks is owned by the same company who own Illumination.

Don't like the new models or how they modified them. And princess Fiona looks like either the toothless Pixar chess player or the witch from Sword and the Stone.

Also likely they are out of ideas as they keep digging the old franchises yet again for sequels rather than something new.

I'm actually not really too against the new designs or artstyle since I enjoy how it looks, but I'm not overall fond of it either since it doesn't really suit Shrek.

I find the meme stuff cringey and worrisome, since they didn't even make new content that references real memes... they just lifted actual memes.

But... most of all I barely care. Shreks been dead for so long that I'm just sort of checked out.
