What do you miss the most about "the internet of old"?

Hating the internet is like hating air: you can refuse to breathe in, but you are still surrounded by it. Disliking the bad side of the internet makes sense, like disliking the putrid air of a swamp.

I don't let my kids anywhere near social media, with the heavily-walled world of YouTube Kids providing most of their online entertainment. It's just crazy letting actual children run around online.

Especially with all the rock spiders.
