What did you do for your mental health today?

5 years ago I was diagnosed with mixed anxiety disorder(F41.3) so I took my medication like every day since the. currently I´m on maintenance stage pre discontinuation, so everything is going well.
 
Coffee is pure poison. I know this stuff well.
I think it's less poisonous than regularly drinking soda, consuming other drugs like tobacco (especially the kind you smoke) or too much alcohol but then again it's mostly the dose that makes the poison, you shouldn't have more than two coffee cups per day.

The ideal would be consuming none of that as you only need water.
 
What I did for my mental health today ? Nothing I got 1 hour ago.
 
2020 sure was but im in a far better place than i was this time 6 years ago. Able to do amazing things for my birthday in June.

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine.
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion.
In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply a herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.
I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Okay, to avoid spamming the thread, I’ll just add that I do this almost every day (except Saturdays and Sundays). Kettlebell, squats, push-ups and so on. And all of this, of course, while listening to some banger music ;D
 
Went for a walk and did some charity shopping this morning been giving away toys to kids yesterday. A poetry book by my friend Ullie in canada dropped shes so good at what she does. Ullie Kaye Poetry look her up on amazon she also posts her work on fb ive known her at least 7 years.

That sounds super hardcore, kudos for managing to keep that up.

I like hanging out with my cats, I’m best friends with the littlest one so he likes to come in my room and sit on my lap, or sit on me and do everything in his power to keep me in bed.

Well this month has been rather hard for me emotionally, so I colored for a bit and that seemed to help my anxiety earlier today.
 
dog tired tonight so best thing i can do is try and sleep through the night least with the heatwave over tomorrow. it should be less hassle getting over at night.

Rest and gaming literally have given myself a lazy day which ya need at least once a week. Ive stuff to do tomorrow as well as pack my bags for a booked in now non refundable holiday to somewhere i enjoy going so im taking it.

Got my favourite radio station lit and im house tidying. Suns out now so the motivation is back rain was bouncing this morning so the day has started off cool. I should be getting some wwf merchandise in the post today. I ordered the VHS wrestlemania collection 1-15 there. Im collecting VHS again so its a good hobby.
 
I had a cortisol i guess they call it now, crash three days ago because I was upset over pet loss I managed to eat a box of oreos a bag of chips and went to sleep 24 hours i do not know why. next day i ate a healthier breakfast and walked to relieve head pressure. i'm doing better today too walked 2600 steps out of 5000 i'm trying for just taking a break might play gta iv some before i do the rest while reading. i guess that crash made me decide to do better for myself that was rough.
 
This morning, a bit on the early side (it's easier to breathe) I took a long walk in the countryside. The sky was very overcast, but the spring green stands out even more, it's a really beautiful contrast...

Coffee actually has quite a few health benefits, though that only applies to black coffee. The second you add anything to it ( yes even cream, milk or especially sugar.) you loose any of the health benefits.
