What did you all think of the Devil May Cry trailer?

When I first saw the Limp Bizkit intro I was a little concerned.

I think the trailer looks like this might be at-least good. I am cautiously optimistic about this now.

I admit I'm not the biggest DMC fan (but that's mainly just because I suck at the games, not that I dislike them) but I'm glad they're doing the unapologetically grimcorny approach, because that's always what I liked most about them.

As far as the actual content in the trailer goes, I don't really have an opinion other than that the animation looks just as stiff as Castlevania.

I have a very large hatred for limp dick, dmc will NOT stop me from doing so. The actual show itself looks meh

Eh ... i still rather play the games .
Im not fond to have Videogames being changed/made to other media .

The same with comics being made into TV-series or movies . Takes out the mainpoint what makes the franchise special on its original medium .

Comics/Mangas for its gorgoues artstyles , Videogames about its gameplay and interactivity , Books for its incredible and extremly detailed stories and etc .

Im maybe a purist but one that appreciate its strengths and weaknesses of said medias .

I read the Late Kevin Conroy has a role in this which was a surprise. gonna watch it just to see how it goes but I'd still prefer the OG one with Patty and Morrison

I had the exact same thought when I saw it. Thank you for making me feel less weird about having watched Underworld two times in the last five years.

I watched the trailer muted because I'm not listening to Limp Bizkit. It felt pretty meh. The visual flourish and humor of the game seems to be missing. I probably missed some wisecracks, but even then, the visual humor isn't there. Plus, it feels Americanized, which is never a good sign for DMC. Even the fighting felt watered down into something more Hollywood than Capcom.
