What are your gaming translation white whales? Games you want to see translated but feel it'll never happen?

I love the art and music for this game. The plot seems unique even today. The gameplay sounds interesting and fairly deep though I don't even know what the combat is like (I think it plays more like an early Wrpg which is more interesting to me than like a typical Final Fantasy style JRPG). Everything I know about it fascinates me, but I don't wanna look too deep into it in case it does ever get translated even though I don't think thatd happen at least not anytime soon. And maybe its actually not that good but i'd like the chance to find out. All we have for now is this.

I always thought it was funny how hard the concept art goes for games that were developed before photo-realism graphics were possible. Just look at the concept art for this game, and compare it to any game today.

Also, my white whales are the Seikai visual novel games for PSX, and PS2. I just love the source material, and want to play them someday. I'll probably have learned Japanese well enough to play them myself before they're translated to English though.

The main PS2 Super Robot Wars titles, Impact, Alpha 2, Alpha 3, MX, and Z. MX being potentially one of the longest JRPGs ever made does not help it's likelihood of getting a fan patch at all. I feel like Z or Alpha 3 are the ones most likely to get TLs since other entries in the Alpha and Z series' respectively have gotten fan patches but I'm not sure.

I'm really hoping this thread isn't too similar to the other one now lol.

Ashita no Joe: Masshiro ni Moe Tsukiro!
I can only hope that with the manga getting an official translation, Ashita no Joe gets more English speaking fans and this game finally gets translated, and maybe the gba game too

I think he meant official translation. I assume originally it just had a fan translation.

def has to be the PC-FX version of POWER DOLLS (FX)
50038_front.jpg

this version just looks sooo pretty & the soundtrack goes hella hard
Learned about the original version in a friends youtube vid. Need to play it.

For me it would be Tegai Makyo: Daiyon No Mokusshiroku/Far East Of Eden: The Apocalypse IV.

There is a machine translated english translation for the PSP version, however that is not a system I play on and I would love for a better translation for the almighty Sega Saturn.

Probably mentioned it before, but as for ones I'm like pretty sure would never happen is the EZ Web Knight Gundam RPGs for Japanese phones.

EZ-Web games are already mostly lost media, and this is for a series that almost no one cares about, so I don't imagine it ever happening.

The manga's only had fan translations so far, but it's finally getting officially translated. I looked it up and the first 3 in 1 tomb came out a few months ago

Quiz Nanairo Dreams (Arcade/Sega Saturn)

Both are obscure Capcom games with excellent spritework

Gaia Master is a fantasy boardgame and Quiz Nanairo is a quiz and dating sim hybrid and never left Japan.

Didn't expect to hear that, in Italy it was translated more than 20 years ago. Usually english translation has the priority when it comes such things.
