I listen to a LOT of different albums, and I'm just curious. 3 of my favorites ever (limiting 1 per band) have to be:

Permanent Waves - Rush
Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
Symbolic - Death

Do you stick in one sort of genre of music or does your taste widely vary?

The great misdirect - between the buried and me
..And I Return to Nothingness - Lorna Shore
Godspeed on the Devils Thunder - Cradle of Filth

Mint Jams - Casiopea.
Chuck - Sum41.
Argus - Whishbone Ash.
One-X - Three Days Grace.
The Last Stand - Sabaton.
The Better Life - 3 Doors Down.
Phobia - Breaking Benjamin.
Blessed & Possessed - PowerWolf.
Anima Mundi - Dionysus.
Travelling Without Moving - Jamiroquai.

I think my taste is pretty varied.

There're so many albums I love that I'd never end writing, so I'll leave only five examples:
I couldn't find a full versión of this one ::sadkirby

I tend to be all around the rock spectrum now and some just crazy indie rock stuff that I found on interpunk a long time ago that is just local band doesn't make it far or the Count Your Lucky Stars era of music was a fun time. Also there is top three influential albums to me. These can tend to be different, but I don't really know anymore or keep things straight. I'll just throw out an very influential album to me as the first one and it's

Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary. When I heard this album in the earliest 2000s it just really opened up my mind and ears to the sort of music I really wanted explore and get into more. Before that I mostly just stuck to punk rock and just whatever I heard on the alternative radio and Tom Petty.

After that one it would be hard to narrow down just two all time favorites, because there are so many and sometimes they change or I get sick of an album after awhile or my mindset just isn't how it used to be. Depeche Mode - Ultra is always a great one. I don't know. Just to finish this post. I won't bold these, because I dunno, I am sort of just picking some albums I really love that don't have a bad song.

Owen - The Avalanche (Awesome singer songwriter stuff by Mike Kinsella of American Football fame. Who woulda thought AF would get so popular again. I thought they were just another mostly dead band I found on interpunk a long time ago)

The Lawrence Arms - Metropole (I only know a few of their albums and some of their earlier ones aren't particularly good, I still have an attachment to them and I just like this one a lot).

Furious Angels by rob dougan

Although i tend to like the instrumentals more like one and the same

I don't know if matrix reloaded and revolutions soundtracks would count, since despite doing plenty of the music for those movies he didn't do all of them, although i still like most of the orchestral music of the matrix trilogy not done by dougan, even if a little cartoony at times, and i definitely think that navras (A.K.A: the final battle between neo vs agent smith) could have done a more epic tone instead of those "indian" music instrumentals (i know one of the families who was not human who appears in revolutions is from indian culture, but doesn't seem fitting putting that stuff for the final battle, specially on extended edits) at least it was different from stuff that came after like the superhero stuff and such

Pretty sad he doesn't do much anymore, much like the matrix films, dougan's music is dead but never forgotten, and yes, he made clubbed to death, just not the kurayamino version.

Suicidal Tendencies - Still Cyco After All these Years (I know it is a re-recording I like this more than the original and they did this I think because they lost the rights to the original). How Will I laugh Tommorow rules too. I know some others of theirs here or there. It's just weird because for a band called that, they had a mostly normal life as a band. I think some gangs rallied around S/T because??? The band itself or Mike Muir wasn't doing crime or causing problems *sigh*

I am just thinking back to when I would listen to S/T a lot and now one of their songs hits me more and I shoulda known.

"Crazy eyes over eggs, crazy eyes like mine
Elote from a street cart, too much beer for the time
Phone calls that should never be made
Phone calls that speed last night into today

So, where will you be in ten years?
This is the part where you don't stay right here
.....
Was it cold hands gripping fears
Of being all alone
In the world?
When I got there, I'm choking in my sleep...."

.........
there , but also I ripped this off a cd I bought in a store in the era of music stores and at the time the ripper didn't account for the four second fake out on the cd at the beginning, so I keep carrying this all the way. I always get these songs wrong because of that. I thought this song was smokestacks still.

Elote? Find out if that is a word. I deleted the source link shown in all it's L and L shitty apartments b/c eh if you click on those links it leads you to genius lyrics or w/e and this was too long already.
