What are you excited about?

I find that pot makes me awful at pretty much everything but Shmups and Sonic the Hedgehog. Very instinct-based games like that, I guess I just zone-in and can turn a blind eye to all the distractions.
Sonic games aren't meant to run without looking at where you go. I think the principle is to use momentum instead of dashing.

As for shmups it's also a matter of placement and rhythm.

I'm looking forward to finishing Archie Mega Man soon and finally being free (for the time being, anyway).

That's so awesome! I can assure you with 100% certainty that true love exists in this world. Anyone telling you to be realistic or settle is full of crap. Chase your ideals. Whoever you are, I'm sure you're a real catch if you're posting on here. She'd be lucky to have you!
You good sir just made my day with that message. Thank you :)

Right now, about all I have to be excited for is @Mr. Daddy making progress in ASOIAF so we can watch GOT with him. I have a lot of things to dread, though.

Honestly, I play Shmups very similar to how I play classic Sonic (all three of which I've played more times than there are grains of sand in these Nowhere Islands). Starting out, it's a lot about momentum yes, but after a while it's about developing a sense of the rhythm and flow of the level design. There are certain set pieces that tip you off that enemies are nearby, or level gimmicks that signal hidden rings, for example. It's why I kind of knew how to navigate the Triple Trouble remake on first playthrough! Developing a sort of spidey sense, etc etc.
I find a lot of Shmups to be similar (although I certainly wouldn't presume to know more of the genre than a poster whose name is almost Ikaruga), wherein you can kind of go on instinct after a while, even on new levels.

Well, I turned 29 today and I feel old. I can say I am most definitely NOT excited to hit 30 next year. Though, I am excited for the rest of what is to come this year! So far so good!

I look forward to Fridays. I check the Nintendo eShop on my Nintendo Switch - OLED Model each week on Friday for new releases that have been added for the week ending on Friday. I also check the Nintendo eShop for any new demos of games that have been made available to download and play.

I got my computer back, and the screen is fixed now..

But now I have to replace the power supply, because something happened to the old one I had when I wasn't around and it's vanished somehow. :/

I'm quite mad about it, but at the same time, every time I see that my computer is there I smile a little knowing I have the data for all my games still.

Sure I can't play it right now, but. It makes me feel better knowing it's there, safe. I also have to find the dongle for my keyboard, which, up until about a week ago, I was keeping safe and ever since I changed pants and took it out of my pocket I haven't been keeping an eye on it all day, so now it's gone. So even if I were to plug in my computer somehow, it's still not readily accessible.

That's okay, it's one step towards being able to play my games on it again.

The day people come off it and learn self-awareness. And Ninja Gaiden 4 day. Definitely Ninja Gaiden 4 day.

Various things honestly.

The day when i can finally start HRT
The day i can move out of my parents house
The day i can afford a graphics card to play MHWilds
The day i finally can have my own house to have more cats

Life without dreaming isn't living, it just surviving, and i am tired of just surviving!
I want to live my life to it fullest <3 :3

I'm playing Ephinea since it seems more active. You got any tips?
Yup Ephinea is more active. Have fun and go at your pace, especially since you don't need to farm for rare gear or shit, but check the wiki for how to feed mags based on your needs before you give it anything!

The same thing that I said on post #14, as I'm still excited about it and it's even that much closer for it to come out within like less then a month.

I'm going to a vineyard tomorrow with wine tasting ๐Ÿท
No, I'm not going to say "WHAT IS A MAN?!" and dramatically throw the glass to the side and declare "A MISERABLE LITTLE PILE OF SECRETS. BUT ENOUGH TALK, HAVE AT YOU."

Longer term? Can't wait for the Raidou Kuzunoha remake to finally be released.

I Play in Ephinea too! I'm leveling my FOnewearl called Yami. She's level 82 already, ready to die a million times in Ultimate.
Im still playing through episode one to get myself up to a decent level. I'm playing a HUmar named Dukeless. The only complaint I have is the jank camera.
